this is what i said before the season started. basing should be 12 teams this season (there are only 12 competitive teams anyway, im pretty sure the bottom two will only get a win if they play eachother.) then just add one week and screw conferences. have one big conference.There exists a fine line between hard partying and destitution.Comment

Pretty good idea. But then only 4 of the 12 teams dont make the playoffs? That's a long regular season only to eliminate 4 teams :-/ and have 2/3 of the teams make it to the playoffs.Originally posted by Escalate

One advantage i see to the longer season is that teams like Disoblige who got off to a rough start would be able to bounce back and make a legitimate playoff run, instead of saying "we probably cant do it even if we win the remaining 6 games"....Comment
