Top 4 or Top 8

Are the playoffs gonna be:

the top 4 from each conference
or the top 8 from both conferences combined?

I dont see why a squad who won less games should make the playoffs whilst another squad doesnt.

Maybe next year a poll could go up to make it one single division and have the top 8 go, but then to make it fair the season has to go longer to make sure everybody plays everybody once.

You know whos in your division, and if your in a hard one you'll have a much more difficult timemaking the playoffs. But when you do, it'll be all the more worth while.

I kinda like the idea of having the two #1 teams from each conference meeting each other in the finals though.

Maybe it's just me.... well probably not since that's the way the system is now

most importantly, you have gotten the chance to play against each of the teams in your division, if you just take the top 8 then the whole idea of having conferences in the first play is pointless, and you will have a situation where you can be beat out of the playoffs by teams you never got a chance to play against and who had a much different schedule than you.

i think the conference records are likely to even out some, and then the conference balance thing will seem like less of a problem towards the end of the season.

Untrue, The top teams are 4-1 they could technically lose every game from here on in and finish 4-6, some of them 5-5, diso could go 5-5 if it was one conference.

Thats what connferences are for. U try to get even conferences but it usualy happens that 1 is better then the other. Much like in the NBA where the western connference is usualy alot better then the east. Alot of the time the #9 team in west (of nba) is alot better record then even the #5-6 seed in the east. I guess its j sut how the cookie crumbles, but i like conferences and i like top 4 from each.
