    Roster Question

    I got confused of the following...

    5.07 All Trench Wars League rosters will experience a soft lock at the start of Round 4 matches. This means that any players that de-roster from a Trench Wars League Squad will no longer be eligible to join another League Squad for the remainder of the season.
    - So you mean after week 4, players still can join a TWL squad, but just cannot participate the rest of the season? or They just have to wait a 7-day period although they joined after week 4.

    - Got a bit confused about the Squads thing. So you mean you cannot join another TWL squad after week 4. How about a non-league players that joined after week 4. They still get to play after a 7-day period right?

    5.08 All Trench Wars League rosters will experience a hard lock at the start of Round 6 matches. This means that no roster additions or substitutions will be allowed after that point.
    - According to this quote, you mean that after this Saturday's 13:00 Est, NO ONE can join any TWL squad right? Or they can, but just cannot participate for the rest of the season

    Sorry, got a bit confused at which week are still eligible to play. Or I am just stupid.

    Soft Lock

    This means that any person who joins a TWL squad from another TWL squad after this lock will not be allowed to participate.

    Hard Lock

    This applies only to people who have never played for TWL squad this season. A squad can recruit people up until the hard lock in this way, and in both cases, the 1 week ineligibility rule applies.

    Does that make sense?

      You are still free to come and go from squad to squad, but you are not allowed to play in TWL if you join after the lock dates listed above. THis does not exclude you from playing in twd matches though.

        yeah thats right wadi... anyone can join anyone but arent supposed to be elegilble


        which baffles me how Jebu left Melee's roster after the soft lock deadline and yet played the next week in TWL for basingcrew lol (but oh well, his sub .500 jav record shows him why we stopped javing him for us lol he can go ahead and do that for BC if they want)

        same with Jard, he left Melee after the deadline, so he is on Rb, but is ineligible to play on any TWL squad for the rest of this season, he can play twd matches, but not twl matches

          What happens when a player returns to their previous TWL squad after the lock?

            I got a question: If someone was in a TWL squad when SOFt lock happened but DIDNT play any TWL game can he still play for another one?

              don't think so, it does not matter if he played or not he was in a TWL squad.
