I'm sorry to rbing you back you back to reality but who do you thinks play more this game? Americans. If you check well, in world wars, there are always more and more americans. I'd say that 45% or more of this zone is constitued of americans(canadians and People from US). That is a real fact you have to take into consideration. What about sweden or finland? 5% of the population? 4? 6? We won't delay it for that small amount of people ... Think about those facts before posting.
As all twl ops are from america, it's like 85% sure there will be no twl actions during those weekends.

Have fun during those weekends, get in a bar or go see a movie with your friends/parents. See ya guys.

and when some host hosts WW3 u can see USA/Can & EUROPE are close to tied. some week usa/can got more players, next week europe got more.

I didn't read the replies but there was this midsummer festival in Finland this weekend and I didn't saw any Finn whine about this. I'm sure some of us missed out the games this weekend..

I'm going to paint javelins on my bottle rockets for the 4th of July. Then I'm going to set up a base made out of cardboard, and put in some paper plates with various ships painted on them. It'll be just like I'm in ?go base, except instead of the ships blowing up and people bitching about rocket lag, the ships will just burn up with their whiny pilots still inside.

Mantra is just bitter becuase in the semis (30 june & 1 july) and the finals (4th july) of thre Euro 2004, Sweden wont be there.

Wasnt the past few TWL's delayed for 4th of july weekend also? why would it change now. Not that it affects me bc im not in TWL this season, but i think since it affects a very large amount of ppl it should probably be delayed. U cant delay for every little countries holliday/party day bc like stab said u'd have a huge season, but when it consists of this many ppl it should be handled different.

TWL has been delayed for North American hollidays in the past because North American residents are the people in charge of the league, or have been in the past (THE PUSHER and Epinephrine were both from NA) and they do stuff on the holidays as do many of the hosts so its just easier to delay. Also, more of the subspace population is North American. They will obviously not delay TWL for ANY and ALL holidays celebrated anywhere around the world. Just the ones that most affect TWL attendance, and rightfully so. I guess it doesn't work out too well for some euro's, but that's the way it'll probably be until you get more euro's playing than North Americans.
