Awesome made the perfect point. It has nothing to do with us (North Americans) thinking we're better than other countries and their holidays. It's all about practicality folks. If a large percentage of the TWL staff resides in North America and can't make it, a delay is completely reasonable. Also, if better than 50% of the TWL player base can't make it, once again, a delay is completely reasonable. I'd be willing to bet that at least 50% of the TWL player base is comprised of North Americans.

Once again, it has nothing to do with bias and everything to do with being practical.

Case in point here, by the way, since becoming an ER, I have hosted five TWL games per weekend. I certainly won't be able to make it this weekend. Just taking into consideration my absence alone, that's quite a few games to be covered by other staffers, staffers who potentially will be absent as well.
