yeah so i didnt feel like going to work today and i was checking out the basing standings and i realized that there is a significant possibility for an eastern conference team to enter the playoffs with a 4-6 record. in fact, i looked at the schedule and this could happen without a single "big upset" taking place.
the key to make it happen is that shriek would have to lose 3 of their last 4, (unlikely since they have melee and sk8 left on their schedule, but anything is possible since they barely showed 8 at the last second to their last twlb), OR syndicate would have to lose all 4 of their last 4 (definitely possible since we face -f-, diso, incuria, shriek). OR incuria would have to lose all 4 (they face RB, WR, Synd, A-S). so say my squad choked and finished out 0-4, the standings could look something like this:
as im sure you know, top 4 go to playoffs
mambo 8-2
incuria 6-4
shriek 6-4

teams that could possibly end up 4-6:
syndicate 4-6 (lose all 4 to make this happen)
diso 4-6 (beat everyone left on schedule except pallies to make this happen)
Whiterabbits 4-6 (if they win 2 of their last 4).

so anyway, i predict that if either synd/incuria finishes out 0-4, or shriek is upset by sk8 or melee (because of showup probs or something), you will see a 4-6 squad in the playoffs. fun facts.
