TWLB confuses me

"I'm going to add the first set of matches for TWL-B Cup. However a lot of players want the roster lock off for the cup (A few squads dissolved etc.) so we will have to wait for TWLD and TWLJ to finish.

As for rules, welp, its a simple knock-out tourny, 40 minutes a match, 1 sub league rules apply.

I don't get why we need to wait for twld and twlj to finish. Does anyone understand the reasoning behind this? Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious, but I'm not seeing any reason for delaying.

Why get rid of the roster lock in the first place? I'd rather see it in place, I don't want a bunch of teams picking up all these players from the dissolved squads. The roster lock is in there for a reason, I don't see how dissolving squads makes a differance.

edit: and only 1 sub, why? The whole season has been with 3 subs I think, why go to 1 sub now?

Gee, seems like someone forgot why there's a roster lock in the first place. Let me reiterate.
-Blah blah blah, didn't play during the season, blah blah blah, shouldn't play duriung the playoffs. Let's hear it for Common Sense! or in this case, the lack of it.

I may be a little misinformed here- but unless the roster lock situation would prevent the 8 squads (Light, Diso, Pallies, A-S, whiterabbits, No Surrender, Cripples, Paladen) from being able to field 8 players- we should start. There's 4 teams left in TWLD and TWLJ= they're not going to be looking to play people they don't already have. Set this shit off Acid.

Rosters unlocked would be in our best interests, we're got MAJOR attendance problems now that schools started again. But I understand the reasons for keeping it in place, and I think we'll get 8 to our games even if it doesn't unlock.
