Well Defiancy just finished playing Sk8. They beat us by 3 mins, and it was a fun/good game. I guess Sk8 wanted a win really bad. :P
Before the match, when I sent in our line, I was told 2 of my starters were under hard-lock. I'm also told I got 1 min left to replace them. So now I'm scrambling trying to figure out who goes where, and telling our players whats up. One of those 2 goes offline because he had a family dinner, and was staying to play for us.
The funny part is, the other starter (Skynryrd) played vs Spastic without a problem. Xog has been on the roster just as long, if not longer then Sky so now im really fucking confused. I try to give replacements to Rodge, but other players are under the hard-lock as well. Eventually Rodge does a check and says Xog and Sky are ok to play, so now Im asking him to re-add/switch people back etc etc (Time has run out, players wondering wtf is going on).
Eventually I ended up telling him to just put whoever is able to play via roster lock in a spider after getting the sharks in, so we can get going. Let's just say we ended up with a slightly mixed up line, and it was a huge hassle compared to the Spastic match.
I'm not trying to attack rodge personally here, I know TWL hosting is rough sometimes. It's just I'm new at this TWL capt thing, and it would be great if TWL staff got their stuff together instead of confusing the shit outta squads before a match.
