I never had a chance to TSL, I think this was run while I was retired from the game for 7 years. We did 3 DT in a row just before TWL. I like DT but it would be nice to get in at least one more event before we run DT again. +1 for TSL.

Lets do all a league where the teams are random every game all season. TWDueling. TWJav. TWBasing. TWSpider.

But the catch is, after a certain amount of games, we will tally up player stats and their win/loss ratio to determine the top 10 in Jav/Wb and top 16 in basing.

Finals would be basically an all-star team match-up.

Example:

Best 10 Javs #1 and #9 on a team #2 and #8 on the other team ect.



We might get a lot of shitty games during the regular season with random teams, but the good players will always have something to play for (the finals+reccing)
and everyone else will get playing time with random teams.

Its a combination of all the leagues in the past.
Could be interesting and a chance to try out some new maps and formats perhaps.

I have an idea for WB/JAV dueling maps that get smaller as time passes to move the games along
We could even play to 5 deaths in dueling and 10 mins in basing to reduce the negative effects of bad team RNG.

Iv never ran a league but if people are interested might be easy to setup.

Claushouse You literally just described TSL. Everything for that has already been made by ogron. If you’re really interested in hosting it I’d be willing to help you out as much as I can. I’ve hosted a couple successful leagues in EG so I understand most of the work is up front and then it basically runs itself. Maybe ogron is willing to pitch in too.

If it’s something during the week (especially between 3 pm to 7 pm EST), there’s a chance I can play. Ever since I’m working from home due to COVID it’s easier to play hooky and shoot spaceships.

It’s funny how things change. When I was in school (or even immediately after when I was working but single), my time was restricted to Sundays for league games. Now with the family there’s absolutely no chance of me being to sign on for a Sunday league game consistently.

Would this be another sunday night league, or move week days? As we move into summer, I'm a lot less willing to give up Sunday afternoons to play spaceships. This idea is similar to TSL, and I think either could be a good step forward.

I also do think another attack league would be a good alternative to traditional basing which provides a break from the 4 or 5 consecutive basing leagues, while still allowing one-shippers like me (thanks TW in 2020!) to play.
