well 2 things happened against syndicate. Sky lagged out at the start and had to be subbed after coming off a good week the game before against Pallies. And Hercules was on vacation and wont be back back until just before the playoffs begin. Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to make excuses, but you did ask what happened

final will trounce pirates. its playoff time now, no more fucking around. pallies will trounce mambo. i believe synd will win by about 10-15. sk8/grapevine i'd have to go with sk8, but grapevine CAN pull this off.

although i think if pirates beat final, which they will not, they would make it to the championship game.

TWLJ Playoff Predictions:

ROUND 1

Note: All of the left hand squads are from the Western Conference, and all of the right hand squads are from the Eastern Conference.

-Final-(1st seed) vs. Pirates(4th seed) - If I chose -Final- I would have to shoot myself, just because I'm a falchion wielding Pirate, therefore I'll go with the Pirates on this one. I think we have what it takes. Sure we're the underdogs, but that's what we need to pounce baby.(Feel free to make predictions on this game, people.)

Sk8(2nd seed) vs. Grapevine(3rd seed) - I think Sk8 has the depth this season, and their teaming has increasingly improved. Also, I think Grapevine just doesn't have what it takes to go past the 1st round in TWLJ playoffs. Sk8 has countless solid javs, whereas Grapevine's "javs" aren't exactly reknown for their javelin skills. I guess you could say that their seeding is correct in every way.

Mambo(3rd seed) vs. Pallies(2nd seed) - Pallies have the talent, with the rare spurt of teaming, whereas Mambo has the hope, and nothing more. Mambo has proven their decency, but Pallies have proven their dominance. Good luck, Mambo, you will need it.

Disoblige(4th seed) vs. Syndicate(1st seed) - Although most may disagree, I feel this match will be surprisingly close. Disoblige has a good chance to win this, firstly, because of their credentials (last year's TWLJ champs), and secondly because, despite their recently lost javs, they have the talent + teaming. But, unfortunately, I will have to predict Syndicate for the win. Syndicate has more talent, and more teaming.

Disoblige doesn't even have download anymore....not even 5 pjs would win this game.

no disrespect to syndicate, because obviously they are the team to beat in javs, but i dont think disoblige is being given enough credit.

mantra, pjotter, desperate, lemon and bram is still a good jav line which can put up a good fight against anyone with the teaming down and a bit of euro lag

Not sure that reasoning is correct.
Disoblige ended TWLJ season with 5 wins and 5 loses. In the games that Download played in thier record was 2 wins and 2 loses.
Additionally, Download recorded 8 kills and 8 deaths in one of those games and 6 kills and 10 deaths in another. In the third game he went 11-10, but had one teamkill.
