Mine said the same thing. Didn't get COVID, but ended up passing away nonetheless about a month later. Glad I got to see her over Christmas, rather than deciding to stay home.

? I'm not hating on you or anyone else. I'm just thinking that letting people have Easter Sunday off shouldn't be a big deal in such a long season. There are like 3 straight months of TWL. Not allowing a single week off with these roster limits seems weird to me.

I look at it a little differently. The season is already so long as it is, why choose to lengthen it further? Maybe give captains the chance to play if both sides are willing to and reschedule the few games that captains choose to delay to later in the season when there are open time slots (4:30/5 pm) during weeks 7, 8, and 9 (pushing twlb and twlj playoffs to start at the same time as twld playoffs).

It's pretty clear there is a heightened risk for match forfeits if we try to push playing Easter Sunday, and as others have already stated, the season is already long enough. Taking suggestions from a handful of posts here and in-game feedback, here is a potential schedule fix to let squads have off Easter Sunday, while still allowing the season to finish on the original date.

First glance, this looks good to me. Gives the people who cannot show for Easter a break, updates playoffs to all start at same time (takes away the goofiness of regular season still going while playoff games are going on), and should make it intense for wb squads as they battle for playoff spots and/or seeding at end of season. Good job at being flexible and listening to everyone.

I like the revised schedule. Now the playoffs are unified as they (imo) should be.

With Wolf dropping from TWLD, I've rearranged the 2nd half of the TWLD regular season after the Easter weekend break to remove Wolf's matches and the byes for each squad. Week 4 (this week) and 5 will be played normally, and the teams playing against Wolf will now have a BYE instead. For weeks 6, 7, and 8 all squads will play 3 LD matches each with no BYEs.

I did put together a 10 week schedule, essentially cramming all remaining LD games into weeks 5, 6, and 7... but vys and I both agreed 3 straight weeks of 4 hours+ playing TWL, and 4 LD matches per week would get pretty grueling and burn a lot of people out.

As Exalt has already pointed out, the Easter poll tells us there is a high probability of forfeitures if we try to force playing on Easter. I've already adjusted the schedule to remove Wolf from TWLD, which removes all TWLD BYE weeks for all squads starting Week 6 (April 11th) when we resume play after the Easter break. This schedule change also aligns the start of all Divisional Playoffs and leaves the original end-date of the Season unchanged (May 16th).

The TWL Site has been updated to reflect the Easter break and Week 6 (April 11th) matches.
