Sk8 suffered some brutal losses in the Week 11 finals of TWLB, bringing a 1 and 7 record to 1 in 9.
After a hardfought match against BasingCrew in which they managed 7 and a half minutes they squared off against Anti-Scrub, taking the flag for a mere 27 seconds.
The Anti-Scrub spiders were just on fire, making the stats of the BasingCrew vs. WR game seem weak in comparison...
Spybreak was a single kill short of a miraculous 8:1 record, Exotic following behind with a 4:1... with a cram so solid that titanium is jealous, it is no wonder that SK8 just couldn't get back in.
It doesn't help matters that all of Anti-Scrub took their turns slapping Spikey around...
Spikey, the terrier for Sk8 in the match, actually wound up with a worse record than the two Sk8 Sharks (Warthog and Ease) ...
Spikey an interesting choice for Sk8 in this match, his TWD record placing him with 17 average kills per game, it was truly a gamble, one that didn't pay off. In Spikey's defense, however, last week was his first shot at TWLB terrier this season, and in the first game versus BasingCrew he didn't put on a bad show.
Abyss and Mysterious of Sk8 seem to be the only shining lights from last week, let's hope that we see some improvement in their spider line over the next few months before Season 8... with some work, they really could be a threat!
