im not making the obvious statement that "this is a game, not real life" cus obviously that's stupid and over used.

i'm saying the comparisons between TWL and ...lets say the NHL (or any other professional sport) aren't good comparisons and people should stop using it to try to prove a point to the ops to change something about TWL

Well there is this little obscure sporting event that involves football..and some kind of 'world cup'... they do a game for third place. The comparison is not unreasonable.

i like the idea of once you're out... you're out completely.
that way people have to strive maybe just a bit harder to stay alive in the playoffs so they dont get eliminated
and why would 3rd/4th place teams get an extra game... where does it end? 5/6/7/8th place teams dont get a small tourny to determine their exact rankings either?

i think the focus of the final weekend should be the finals. it shouldn't just be the semifinal games reshuffled.

more people will care about the allstar game than a 3rd place game.

I personally would rather come in 3rd than 2nd. 2nd is saying that you arent the best, u cant beat that team, coming in 3rd is like saying " well at least i got something"
