Question about the All-Star Picks

I would ask someone privately how this works, but I'm sure others have the same question. Can someone explain how the All-Star picking happens? Is it that captains from each team vote on a couple of people? Or do they nominate people from their squad to be on the All-Star team?

Last year there was a thingy on the TWL site, and you could vote for people off of their roster. They had to play over 4-5 TWL games to be eligible if I remember right.

What could happen next year is that PUSH could assign a couple of all-star captains (that won't get to play the all-star game) that he knows will be active, watch matches, are trustworthy, and keep on top of things etc etc. and at the end of the season, the captains from each squad can nominate 2 members from their own squad and the captains could proceed to pick from that specific pool.

who the hell would want to do that?

last season they were voted on, the top 10/16 (depending on the league) were put on a list. after that, from each squad that made the final, a captain was picked, and they made their team from the top votegetters who showed up to the allstar game. . .

if that makes sense.

agreed, if you have more than 1 all-star on your squad, that doesn't mean they both shouldn't have an equal chance of making the team. voting system works the best.

Yeah we should be able to see the stats of players while we vote for who should play in the all-star game. All players participating must have around at least 4-5 games (half season). All-star captains should be captains of the teams that competed in the finals for each conference. The Pusher, as TWL op, should decide who will go on the poll through a series of reading statistics, mvp performances, smizzling a jizzle, waking up a day later and completing the task with the players for the poll. Something like that.

Other than that:

TWL-B

The Pusher picks 5 Terriers from each conference to go on the all-star terrier poll. Top two % of vote represent the conference. (Two terriers each conference). Players who have played TWL at least 4 games get to vote for two of the choices.

The Pusher picks 10 sharks from each conference to go on the all-star shark poll. Top three % of vote represent the conference. (Three sharks per conference). Players who have played TWL at least 4 games get to vote for three choices.

The Pusher picks 25 attack-ship-players (lancaster, spider, javelin) from each conference to be placed on the all-star fighter poll. Top 7 in % of vote represent the conference. Players who have played TWL at least 4 games get to vote for seven choices.

The all-star captain (captain of the conference champion in the twlb) choses who he puts in and how long etc. etc like a captain of a ?go base game.

TWL-D & TWL-J

Twenty people will be picked by The Pusher for each respected league and conference based on statistics and mvp performance to be represented on each leagues' polls.

Top 7 % players from poll in each conference play. Players who have played at least 4 games may get to choose five choices.

The captain of the champion team of each conference is the captain of the all-star team for that conference. He controls the game for his team like one would in ?go wbduel or ?go twdd or even ?go twld.

thats cause 2-3 squads have all the best players, if people from other squads were picked it would be an even more stupid and worthless game, it would be a deathmatch rather than an all-star game.

voting system assures more or less that the ones that performed the best each season get picked, it worked fine last season.
