RB was in its prime a while back...now they're recruiting pubbers like AcidBomber that have never even played twbd in a real sense. I believe RB will suffer a slow death as the few remaining good players leave.

I agree they'll stay alive and probably even make next TWL, but they wont be near as good. No matter who u get and how talented someone is, you probably wont be able to replace a spider like Lunch3, a jav/spider like K2, or an alla round player like RR. Those 3 are the only real huge losses u guys had, and it will be hard to find ppl with enou gh talent/dedication to replace them, but i think you'll still have a nice lineup by next TWL simply bc of how active you are.


HS: no one on here deserves an explanation for something that happend between u and WPE IRL. Thats real life, this isnt. I think if she really wanted to join another squad she would, and u couldnt hold her back.

I have been on Rejected Basers for a while too, I left it because I didn't like it, I do not like squads with allot of members you don't even know, I also didn't like the difference between skill level within the squad.

I started TW last summer (been playing subspace for 6 years), I didn't even know RB recruited public players to make better players out of them. I never recruited public players for BasingCrew, because I do not like big skill level differences within a squad. I did come up with the idea of Quirion wich recruits public players to give them a chance to BD and become competitive basers with help of experienced basers without knowing RB did this before. I think it is a big difference with RB because they recruited them into their own squad.

The whole sister squad, Quirion, is just an idea carried over from DSB it appears.

Dont they automatically make it? I think RB, with their current line up, will 'maybe' get 2 wins next TWL, I dont see them beating anyone besides Melee or an upset vs Syndicate or BC. RB will aways be alive, because HS is loyal, but I dont think it will be a great squad.

RB is 70% nobodys who are active/want to learn/get a lot better at basing (wpe,geekbot,lunch3,vatican assassin).
RB is 30% other basers who come and go from other squads (vehicle, server, necromotic).

People leaving RB is partly normal turnover and partly people getting a lot better and are now able to move around to other top squads (lunch3, vati, minkmink).

RB under PaulO was: active, loyal, and competive
RB under Heavensent is: active, competive, and some squad hoppers were allowed to join if they brought game

Pan, if you don't think winning/performing was important under PaulO, then you don't remember the weeks before he left RB.

Either way, PaulO+Heavensent prove that being active and dedicated can turn rejects into results. (I'm pretty sure a 6-4 TWLB record can be called results...and you could easily argue that RB was a playoff level squad in a ridiculously difficult Western Conference). RB is a TWD era squad. Unless basing goes back to 4 times a day in private arenas, RB isn't going anywhere.

No, only playoff squads get into TWL the next season. RB didnt make playoffs so they'll have to requalify through TWD, but there is alot of time between now and then for them to improve.

Tobe: ya i'd say it was taken from DSB with Cadets being there. not 100% the same thing, but it has the same basic meaning. Basicaly bc in TW u cant ahve a diff squadname on if u play in games. Good system tho if u got ppl who are dedicated to it.

Sure it'll hurt there skill and level of play by losing so many starters so quick, but overall i'd expect heaven to replace them as co-cap and bring in a bunch of new faces who are active in .?go base. Train them like the others trained and make it into next TWL. Again i doubt they'll do as good bc replacing some of those guys will be hard, but makin TWL isnt outo f the picture.

When i just joined Rb a few days ago we were bding basicly 8-10 times a day, now when i am on we barely can get one bd in, Losing many of the starters doesnt just reduce the skill in the squad but also the squad is less active than before with more people leaving like HockeyDude, Knockers, and Send.
