Thats true rand but like fit said melee is still on the bottom part of TWL teams. IF vs TWD teams they can pull out some wins, but vs TWL teams...well they just lack the essentials.

Kings: bosshawk/poid/a few guys on melee arent really bad in skill. I mean bosshawk with a godo team around him would be considered a pretty decent terr. Poid has always had skill in 1 ship or another. Its just they look bad bc there other teamates are lacking.

Its not that they arent respected, they are bc they can stay alive even w/o beign competative. They arent underrated tho. They are rated rite where they should be.

Why is tyrome not in this list of good ppl ? Do you insult me! GRRR!

as much as Im concerned, a squad that didnt gave up half way and stayed in to fight in the league is better than a squad that just dissolves after 2 losses. Even tho melee pretty much eneded at the bottom of all 3 league, I still gave them mad props for sticking together.

well in twlb we finished last in the division, but not last in the league


in twld there were 4 teams that were worse record then us, err 1 was tied with us

and in twlj there was 1 worse and 2 tied with us...

so yes we were near the bottom, but also lost a lot of quality players who bailed on us either just before the season... or during....

i can remember 2 weeks before that twl season started, beating pallies 2x in one night along with RB and A-S repeatedly in basing... but then we lost 3 sharks that all were starters in Nethila, Adman and PureOwnage.... that was more then enough to wreck the chemistry of the basing lineup... we struggled at shark all season

its a new season... Melee is having fun again and starting to win matches again

as for Gallelleo, i actaully took u off forum ignore cause i thought maybe u had hit puberty and matured a little bit, obviously i was mistaken lol.......BWC some mistakes were made, but the team around me had no interest in playing as a team... and a terr is only as good as the team around him... but u wouldnt know about the word TEAM would u....
you also seem to forget or fail to mention that the BWC before that one, when i terred Canada to 3 straight ownage victories and won the BWC... but then u have selective memory dont you

i think melee is being compared to melee's of old.

every squad changes every season. it is unfair to compare melee this season, to melee last season, just as grapevine of next season will be different from grapevine of last.

Actually it's perfectly fair to compare GV of the new season with GV of season 7. GV has the same leaders (you and weaver) and as the only other TWLD finalist that didn't disband, ended the season in a very perfectly good dominant position.

Squads with the same leaders should definately be compared to the previous season if they still exist. The real test of leadership is to be constantly successful and not just once.

Comparing Melee of Season 7 with Melee of Season 6 however is not fair as the captains abandoned the squad and took many of the best players with them.

And Melee isn't underrated. I think it's rated exactly where it should be, at the bottom of TWL.

I don't like to bring this up, and some of the TWL7 Melee members were friends of mine, but check it out...

Melee was in all 3 TWL leagues. Counting preseason games, they played 36 games in TWL. Out of these 36 games, they only actually won 2 of them (they had 2 forfiet wins). That is a 2-34 record. Melee statistically was by far the worst squad in TWL 7. In TWLD, the only reason they weren't in last place is because they won a 50-0 forfiet game. In TWLJ they didn't win a single game and again were only not dead last because the team behind them was a replacement squad who only played 3 games. In TWLB they were dead last as you can't compare them to a replacement squad.

Again, don't jump on me. Everything I said was fact. Respect should be shown for the fact that they showed up to every game (all 36 of them) and tried, even after such a bad season. What isn't justifiable though is that they won only 2 games out of 34.

We were the returning champs and we had spiders like Dttr and holydude, and we had stabwound in shark. I think all the teams were real contenders in all honesty We just had a bad game, in which i sucked also

Boss I am not even playing this game at the moment, and I am not only basing this on the bwc. BTW you show real teamspirit blaming the other people in your bwc team that you sucked, thats better teamspirit then I got.

Froederick, In an other post I said you didnt have a bad team at all, I just think that in the end you wouldnt be the ones that had a big chance for reaching the finals, certainly not with a cap that rather picks himself in terr then using someone thats actually better then him at it.
