I've been saying this forever.
But i think if you're going to do unlimited changes, you need basic rules on the ships so nobody can get in and make 6 sharks.
arro's idea would be fun, but too chaotic... I'd like to see unlimited shipchanges in the hands of the captains

The only bad thing with ship changes is say Team A has 14:59 and loses FR and Team B recovers the flag. All team A has to do is get a weasel in their and touch the flag. I mean most of the games of ?go base end out with victories like that. I think that be lowest thing you could do in twl matches. I think if we just tweak some of these rules and limits it be fantastic, but the weasel issue would need to be on the agenda.

Thats why u only give a team 1-2 shipchanges. Usualy they'll use that earlier in the game._o_2NASRALLAH

Last year RB played Spastic...think it was the first game, well, we javed K2grey. What we thought at the time was an awesome idea, but we were soon mistaken. Their sharks had too much of good timeing for k2 to get a shot in. We would of loved for him to get into a spider, lets get a shipchange.the price is right, bitch.

I don't know fellas, i'm just not motivated to play that same fucking game again- and I prefer the idea of a settings change to the idea of a map change.
No, i do like two of the ship limitations (2 sharks, 1 terr is pretty agreeable)- but i do think it would be fun to bring the jav in for cram breaking, bring the bird or lanc in for cramming, bring a fifth spider in for chaotic flag room shit, whatever your squad's pleasure.
the down sides as I see it:
* the dreaded "trying something new"- i'm with ya, it is hard to imagine basing as anything other than 8 on 8 fixed basing, but maybe it's time we try to evovle the game a bit
* captains needing to be johnny on the spot with the changes- it would require macros, a fast typer, or even a "coach" like captain that would just be in charge of tactical coordination (changes/switches/subs/etc)--
I don't man, keep in mind I've been doing this for a long time and I might be more ready for a change than some of you, but I think this would add a whole new dynamic to the game.
