well looks like i was wrong, i thought i'd give Rusher the benefit of the doubt, but when i signed on to the TWD stats to check out how Diso was doing, i saw 2 recent jd's.... Rusher defeats Unveil and Rusher defeats D2A. also Menasor, Blak, Melee, Nitroxide, Oxidise, Sk8, Rapid, Basing Crew and Boz are all one their list. reasonably decent matches were had with Rune and Value, and the ONLY upper tier squad they have played was Pallies, and of course, Rusher lost.

this might not piss me off as much if they didnt pretend they were amongst the best in javs and retards like Fludd didnt claim to be about 3 times as good as they really are. Fludd> i just went 17-6 in a jd

what he failed to tell was how that JD was against Oxidise.

Last nite rusher was asking "jd" and i challenge and they say "oh wait some left" then i look 5 minutes later and they are vs somoene like menasor. it works both ways cig smoke... sometimes people arent lying, somtimes someone just log off right before a game is found.

the only 2 squads i've been on for like 9 months have been diso and dice. the only time i ever saw rusher play decent people in JD was when Nethervoid still ran it. Since then, they dont even challenge anyone better than decent. whatever, fuck them.

I meant to put pirates on the list as well i just forgot sry bout that, but u the general idea of what i was saying regardless if i forgot a squad or not. BC of this reset its hard as hell to play more then a game or 2 a day bc everyone is afraid of losing points or this or that with points. Its fuking crazy and stupid.

Yes those average squads pussy it out and i dont disagree with them, cause if they dont do it, BOZ will and gonna make twl in their places.

Then when someone points it out on forums, they gonna say they werent contenders and only maybe playoffs with some effort.

So screw all whinage. If i was in any squad i wouldnt play hard ppl now without my top line and if i didnt know that they got way more points.

If the squad is stable enough to handle a few losses the new squads who want to make twl should really be playing the hard squads now. Get some experience, get an idea of the level of play and whether you really want to play twl and go 2-8 or not, and then if you still do make a push for the ladder rankings next month. If your squad is going to fall apart when you get beat 50-20 better figure that out now then in the middle of twl when we'll all hate you for it. I feel kind of bad for rune and 1337 because their willingness to play anyone in twjd has put them way down the ladder, unlike all the squads that won't play us (and we're not even that good since you'll normally be playing us with us playing 1 javver and 3-4 basers/duelers unlike the pure jav squads) but in the long run it will help them.

And yeah I don't think anyone is accussing pirates of ducking squads seeing as how they're automatically qualified they have no reason to care about the ladder standings.

Ya the squads are acting like the selection is next week, its not its over a month away. There is plenty of time to lose a few games and gain some experience. What are they gonna do duck squads for a month and 1/2? Thats BS!

Okay if there is anyone reading this who isn't on TWL squad yet (and i assume there isn't), heres just a bit of advice... take it or leave it...

last year when we were qualifying, we went with the idea that we still only challenged good squads unless there were none online at that time. most of our games were vs. the top 5-10 squads in that division. heres why: it's good experience even if you lose, and you'll have to play them in TWL anyways so it's good to prepare. also, if you dont think your squad can beat them, why even bother going for twl at all, because you'll just get humiliated and dissolve after 2-3 weeks in. if you lose a stupid DD or JD vs. the #1 squad, you wont lose that many points. if you win, however, you will win a fuckload of points. bottom line: very little to lose, lots to gain.

go for it, and play the game just for the fun of it too.

like i said, this was our philosophy last year, it's a simple one and i assume lots of other squads do it too but just in case you did not look at it from that perspective before, maybe you can just see it that way now.
