I do not play twdd. The only times I have ever played it this reset was when I had to cover for someone that lagged out or couldn't play for some reason. What does my twdd record have to do with any of this anyways?

It is much more humiliating for a team to lose a base game badly than a jav or wb game. If Dragonguard and Pirates get into TWLB and lose every single game 0-15 they are not going to have fun and they aren't going to learn anything.

The reason it was dropped to 14 squads was to make it more competitive. Dropping off 2 non competitive squads is a way of doing that.

Maybe we should start the season with 16, if people drop out, leave the spot empty. When 2 people drop out, we have an even number again and the 2 squads on bye weeks can play each other instead.

16 squads would be nice for TWLB, but if this means there will be 2 extra squads dissolving while league is going on its not nice anymore!

Currently, the next two squads to make it would be Pirates and DragonGuard, no stability problems there.

what does it matter if the 16th place twlb team drops out and is replaced by the 17th best? people are still playing and there isn't a realistic chance that the standings are effected.

the only problems that arise when a squad drops out is when it's a good squad and the schedule is set up just right.

I agree that it's dumb to have the TWLB schedule different from the other 2 leagues, but I'm still happy that it is. The aim that the TWL ops had was to make TWLB more competitive. Dropping off the 2 worst squads does that. I guess I'm pretty selfish in the matter. I agree that there is no reason why the 15th and 16th place squads shouldn't be in TWLB if they want to, but being in the position I'm in, I would rather not have to play 2 boring TWLB games this season if I don't have to.

TWLB was fiercely competitive last year, even with a handful of poor-performance squads. It wouldn't have been nearly as good with 2 more bad squads that were pretty likely to dissolve midway or drop out of leagues.

Thats fucking true. I'm so sure dragonguard would do better in TWLB than Spastic in TWLD ...
