Why don't we have the mini-weasel in TWLB?

We're allowing ship changes. In a very tight game, a last minute change to a mini-weasel is a very sound tactical move. We should be given the opportunity to take advantage of that tactic should we wish to.

Also, for the sake of consistency, the mini-weasel is now in pub, ?go base and TWBD but not in TWLB.

Last time i checked the mini-weasel wasnt in TWBD, but i think it should be. I also think it should be found in TWLB.

In my opinion, base should be as much as possible like TWLB because that's basicly what league basers play in TW. (Nice logic huh). So as fun as mini-weasel is in base it still should be removed because it isn't in TWLB. :fear:

i dont think theres a rule preventing its use... at least there didnt used to be unless it was changed last year....

just no one used it cause it was too highly ineffective against good squads....

it works in go base because we have newb caps that shipchange nonstop... ( i really thing go base should have ship changes removed down to 1 or 2 and it would help go base drastically)

but against good squads i would be surprised to see a team using a weasel for the whole game win....

base will never get better till someone organizes an official list or something preventing caps that continuously destroy games in go base with their capping and abuse the cap but ship changing themselves 10x during a game

The mini weasel is horrible. Prevents any close games from occurring. If theres a minute left, The game is basically over with changes.

Not really. It announces when a ship change is made. So if a team changes to weasel all the other team has to do is put X-radar on terr and/or switch a guy to jav just to cover the wholes. Plus if there is anything more then about 10 secounds you will notice the cloaker and kill it/get flag b4 it finishes anyway. I think it should be allowed bc its part of the game, plus i dont think very many ppl would play it anyway.

Yeah, sorry. It's probably my fault cause, as some people know now, I destroy all in the mini-weasel.

The strategy of keeping a mini-weasel isn't for attacking the FR, but for just keeping pressure on the terr. You can get him moving from side to side of the FR entrance, you can bait him out of his protective area (behind the spiders and sharks, etc*) where your team would most likely kill him. That, and with the weasel, you can get an easy kill on a newbie terr, and you can keep disrupting their cram by getting behind it and picking off players and disorienting them.

Though I don't think this is a half bad idea, I don't think deciding to impliment this a month before TWL starts is a good one. Perhaps for next season we can give it a go in TWBD for a couple of months, but a month is deffinetly not a good way to see all the kinks of what can happen in a REAL BASING GAME (not fucking ?go base you pansies).

All ships with their pub-settings should be allowed. Simply saying that it wouldn't be useful is no argument. If a ship is not useful in a match, it won't be used. Lancs are almost never used, but we don't put a restriction on them.
