Why don't we have the mini-weasel in TWLB?

All ships in with their pub-settings should be allowed. Simply saying that it wouldn't be useful is no argument. If a ship is not useful in a match, it won't be used. Lancs are almost never used, but we don't put a restriction on them.

The strength of timed games is that you can always win when you control flagroom. Weasel would mess up this, well.. they are just anoying as hell too..

I don't know PL... We only have a few ship changes at our disposal. You'd have to use them wisely. It's not as if everyone is always going to resort to using the weasel if the game is winding down and they're pretty much locked out of flagroom. Squads would have to plan ahead to do that and save a ship change for it, and if they were already losing, I'd be willing to bet they'll have used their changes earlier in the game.

At this point, my argument is really more about consistency. There are too many inconsistencies right now, and not just in TWLB. The TWJD and TWLJ maps don't match up, for instance. There's really no point in that, just as I believe there's no point in having one basing arena differ from the next.

once again I'm forced to ask this question: "What is the argument AGAINST it?" it's like people just want to make rules for the sake of putting limits on stuff... if weasels suck, don't use it, but why take away the option from someone that thinks they can make it work? Same with a lev. I think its a piece of shit... you'd probably make one or two big plays with it in a whole game, and lose because your team is 7 v 8 the whole time, buti f you think you can work it, go for it.

Well levi is part of game also. Maybe it should be allowed too?

I always thought levi should be allowed and not be banned from TWLB. I really dont know why it ever was. Like BZ said above, it would be more or less 7v8 the whole game bc it would take a levi 2 minutes to get up to mid bc he couldnt be greened by someone.

Dameon: u forgot its also an extra repel if ur team uses it rite. If ur sharks arent 100% perfect there is usualy 1-2 secounds b4 the next shark respawns/can rep. Its a perfect idea to have that weasl just sit there to rep in that time period.

My repel has been jacked. They took that strat away from me after a round of ?go base, lol. Same with my rocket, cause I killed a terr like 15 times one game with it. I have faster bullets, and x radar, which is basically useless in a base game unless you're going against another weasel, which is rare.

I always wanted to use a weasel at the end of a tight game to be a 7th repel to finish out the cram for a win....kind of like using the running backs and tight ends for maximum protection of the quarterback. The other team could respond with 2 javs or something.

As much as everyone hates the cram, you gotta admit those kinds of tactics would be cool.
