Twlb squads number

Yo, this has been mentionned in threads but never had it's own thread i believe (other than the sticky one). Let's do it. 16 teams in Twlb. 2 teams that sucks? so what, if you want twlb to run in 2-3 years, you better have it or else basing will develop slower than any other leagues. I'm sure the benchers would enjoy playing a game in the league or whatever. Let's do it for the show! Twlb 6 was fun.

It's true, I did enjoy playing in TWL 6 more than TWL 7. It's because the number of teams in TWLB.

Well you can laugh all you want to my squads how we suck etc. But there are lots of good quality squads out there at the moment. Like Melee, DG, Pirates, and us. I think expanding TWLB squads from 14 to 16 isn't a big problem at all. Look how last season goes. Only one squad dropped out of TWLB which was Shriek (I don't think that counts, since they're banned). Even with Defiancy in they were still great at least did not drop out for the rest of the season.

Well I know it has mentioned in other topics around here. 16 Teams in TWLB should be accepted! Thanks!

There are too many teams as it is, quality before quantity.

There are more competitive base squads than dueling or jav.

Def quality over quantity. 14 w/everyone playing everyone else once would be the fairest. 13 games. No split conferences and junk. Top 8 make playoffs. All-star game in the middle-late season. Simplified and straighforward.

And the thing that will make it happen would be the ability to schedule TWL games during the weekdays.

Everyone should definately play each other squad. The number of squads in the league should be decided to fit the timescale. Meaning the number of squads in LB LD LJ should all be the same. That's if we run them all at the same time.

I'd like to see the return of the TWLB-Cup. A purely playoff-based tournament, none of this qualification bullshit.

And I repeat: CONFERENCES SUCK

Agreed. There is enough squads for 16 in TWLB. A few weeks ago ppl were complaining how basing dont have enough squads staying around, well if u expand the league more ppl will get to play the league. Think about 2 seasons down the road. Will diso/pallies be here? Will Spastic/mambo be here? Will any of the current squads be alive? There are alot of questions to what squads will be alive in a few seasons. Expand it so more ppl/teams get experience. Even if they go 0-10 they can improve in the next season. Just make sure they are playing decent teams in TWD. Dont take someone like Ancient who only bd wingmasters.
