Lag limits

This is quite the thing to hear coming from someone that was proven to be lagcheating in a jav yesterday.

Haha, since when staff is allowed to tell publically who is cheating (and get warned due that) and who is not. Dumb fuck.

And I don't care what ppl do in ?go base and I never jav anyway in bd's. And only time I jav in ?go base is when someone from Incuria is cap. And I didn't want to lower my upload rate because that would have lowered my download rate because in that stupid torrent site your upload=download.

Yesterday and tomorrow my ping suddenly made jump after I shut down my downloads. And it was jumping between 250 and 400ms. Why does that happen, explain it.

Dunno why I bother to answer to some lousy ZH.

Ohhhh..and from now on, if I see someone spiking even a bit or having even a bit high-looking ping, I will do ?cheater call. I've already macroed it. Oh yea forgot..too bad staff is ignoring all my calls..or maybe even worse, answer after game is already over.

Btw it's funny when you only spec ppl in twd. I've never heard anyone got warning or ban there. And then in ?go base match.. geez.

Also funny thing is that I've seen few times one ER lagging badly in base. He admitted that he is downloading stuff, I did ?cheater and nothing happened.

You started whining about doing bad, then your lag went up to 400ms. People were calling you to spec or get a sub and you kept doing "I don't lag", being smart about it. Magically as soon as I did a help call, a mod came into the arena and your lag went away. If that's not proof then I don't know what is.

Plus I encourage you to do ?cheater calls on people if they are lagging enough to ruin the game.

My ping was high from beginning. And if it is around 300ms all the time with no ploss, how can you say I'm cheating. Maybe that tinfo or wtf is it revealed something else. But looks like it doesnt show everything because I was still downloading and uploading. I don't care how bad I do in base, I'll rather laugh at it than turn some cheats on.

And there's bunch of guys with worse lag than me who are also javing. Not to forget few guys (one in your squad) who totally disappears from screen appearing in fr. But nooo, it's their normal lag so they can go on with it. I should start to play this with my 56k again.

I dunno what is lagging me then. I normally have average 120ms, low 100-110ms and high around 200ms with 0.0-0.3% ploss. That's about best I've seen/heard you can get from Finland. I haven't never even played vs you unless you have aliases.

Agreed. Come on, let's not shit talk. Machine of God was lagging in that game too, and yes someone did a ?cheater call and I believe he was specced. I agree laggots ruin the game.

We've already gone over this matter in the past months and years...there should be a lag limit but it shouldn't be so strict. 200ms and 1% ploss is just retarded, that means that anyone would 56k would be in trouble. We can't be prejudiced to those who cannot afford a better connection or to families with shitty incomes. Our first justification for the basis of why the lag limits shouldn't be so low is for the fact that this is a free game, open to the whole gaming community. The whole reason why people play this game is because it's free...otherwise you'd see them paying whatever it costs for those games: counter-strike, diablo, WoW, etc. I play this game because it's free and I don't have to pay for shit. The only way you can morally enforce a strict lag limit is by making this a game that you'd have to pay for...and if people had to pay to play TW...or SubSpace/Continuum...wouldn't they just decide to buy the better games then...(Counter-Strike, WoW, Diablo, etc). I mean, it's like saying this: Do you want Pokemon Snap or NFL Blitz...

In my opinion, lag limits should be alot more strict, like 200ms 1% ploss etc.
Sometimes i feel like theres no point playing TW anymore since the laglimits are touching the sky. Doesnt matter how much you hit ppl they will eat and eat and eventually kill you with invisible bullet/bomb. To make some logic to this zone, i'd do strict lag limits for twl atleast. Share your opinion. -_-

Lower ploss limits sounds nice in twd. Now you can play dd and jd with 4.5% and bd at least with 7% ploss. I've tested that when some routers were fucked and I had 4%+ ploss for over 2 weeks. In pub it's 13% and elim 7.5 (or 4.5..can't remember anymore).

Of course I'm not sure if staff will spec you earlier.

Are you sure the ploss limit is that high in TWBD? Either they changed it, or you are mistaken, because a about 1 1/2 years ago I had major ploss problems all the time, and I know for a fact the TWBD limit was exactly 4.5% ploss.

Meh.. if someone doesnt afford decent connection why should we allow them to ruin the fun for others? Lag will always be apart of internet gaming tho and you will see eating and "lagging" even if the limit had been 200ms with some low ploss limit
