what is wrong with just using all the stuff from twl from last season? Ok so the bots crashed occasionally in twlb, big deal. It was good enough, and it's better than waiting who knows how many more months for twl to begin. This is exactly what happened last season. The staff thought they could fix the bots, they waited 6 months, no one did anything, then they started leagues after Push just told them to give up. Well I'm telling you right now, you had 4 months to work on the bots, if you didn't do it then you're not going to do it now. Give up, use the stuff from last season, and lets start this in a week.

I don't care if all your bot programmers quit or didn't get the stuff done. We already have everything we need. We've proven that by already having what, 8 twl seasons? If you don't finish your work on time, you just use the old system, you don't delay it.

I dont think I could handle the whining from Pirates after the bot failed in our game vs them. It's worth waiting 4 months to stop the 20 threads they started becasuse of that :P

If they would actually fix it in those 4 months so everything ran absolutely perfectly. But we all know that probably won't happen. And even then personally I wouldn't think it is worthwhile since I want winter leagues.

As a computer science graduate myself I understand that coding bots is frustrating and boring and I give the guys that do it much respect. I don't fault them for not getting it done, it's more than I did. All I'm asking is be honest with yourselves. You don't have it done, you're not going to get it done in any reasonable amount of time, so go on without it like we've done... oh the last 7 years or so. Don't stick us with a massive delay on some stupid hope that by some miracle you'll get it working. From what I know, that's not going to happen. Now move on. Be realistic and stop screwing people over. It's not done, fine, work on it for next season and get this season underway.

And I want an announcement about the delay and why there is a delay and why this delay is worthwhile if you're going to force us with a delay. We all know by now things aren't working out. So either give us a damn good reason, or give us an announcement that twd is ending in a week.

i think twl was delayed because ppl that used to run it is inactive/retired (pallies/syndicate). They had some interest in leagues, not saying they only run it because of this, but this helped twl to get competitve.

What Sumpson says is true, no offense but there are tons of 18+ kids living at home with no job right now who have nothing better to do than run a league or help doing so. Let those kids do it so I can win it already. :wub:

If you set a due date, stick to it. If you can't stick to it, notify everyone in a fair amount of time. As someone said, I'm sure theres plenty of people who will do their job
