we only played "newbie" squads because sk8, teks and ancients started to do it first.. we didnt want to risk it.. After that we've beat good squads. And will beat in twlb too. Not our fault if you underestimate us.. imo we're even better than some of the pure basing squads.. like rb.. but we'll see ..

This whole rigging the pre-season schedule so the games are closer is stupid. In the regular season, no matter how good/bad your squad is, you will play a fairly equal number of good/bad teams. With the pre-season right now, some squads are only playing the tops squads and others are only playing the squads at the bottum. The point is, the pre-season format should mimic the regular season format, and it's obviously not right now.

To even it out, if we have another pre-season week, instead of the 15th best squad playing the 16th or the 14th playing the 16th, the 1st squad should play the 16th, 2nd the 15th, 3rd the 14th, etc.

I think the idea is just to let the squads practice while the bots are being debugged. You get more practice in a closer game.

The matches we've had haven't exactly been close. We have room to make a shitload of mistakes in the easy matches, doesn't really help us get our attitude right for playing the real squads.

Then again, it's pre-season. Not all squads are even playing all their starters, some are testing shit out and some are just letting people on their squad have fun before it gets serious. I mean, I won't say that not all squads try in pre-season, but I know that squads put a lot more effort in TWL regular season in not making ANY mistakes. Basically, I'm trying to say, although squads are raping other squads, that could be how regular season TWL goes, but at the same time, no squads (smart ones) are going to be fucking around when it's serious...unless they want to lose.

It wouldn't work, very few squads take preseason seriously enough for that.
