I wouldn't have any idea who would be competent enough to take the job, but randedl seems to do a good job with everything else so sure
    Currently listening to:
    Valient Thorr - Immortalizer
Dead to Me - Little Brother
    Tim Barry - Manchester
    Lemuria - Get Better
Alkaline Trio - Agony and Irony

TWL Op is a job where no thanks or credit is given in the face of minor screw-ups which most of the time he'll have no control over. If Randedl wants the job, he is the best person I could imagine to do it
      I'd rather be SubSpacing.

Yah I got no time for this anymore!

As for replacing Rodge. Talking to P_L I get the vibe from him that he's okay with going it alone, so really I don't think P_L is looking for a replacement. But if there is a replacement that does want to step up, I'm sure P_L would be more than happy to unload all the 'bitchwork' that Rodge did for TWL onto that person. Of course like Rodge that person likely wouldn't get Smod, and would basically just get a lot of work to do.

What kind of work? From my experience at doing it all myself in season 6 (note obviously P_L takes care of this stuff too, but this is the list of all the bitchwork which is non-high level admin related [i.e. making important decisions]):

            1) Making sure that there's hosts for every TWL game, thus being there for every timeslot in TWL every weekend. Also hosting all games without a host. Also dealing with problems as they come up during the gametimes. Usually 1-2 big problems a weekend happen which probably take more than 30 mins to resolve and then will include a lot of bitching after that. (Approx. 8-9 hours/weekend. Of course P_L is there too, but it's better with 2 people, and this is probably the prime job that P_L would want to unload. Finding hosts and hosting sucks to do, I gave it to Acid when Acid was around cause he liked that sorta thing. Of course higher decisions for screw-ups are jointly (or solely) decided by/with P_L)

            2) Making sure scheduling's up (turning it on every Sunday night), and assigning times to games that weren't settled by Thrusday 6pm EST (which means being around at that time every week to make sure it's done ASAP). (Approx. 1-2 hous/week, but happening as close as possible to those times)

            3) Answering random questions people have about TWL so P_L doesn't have to, or when P_L isn't around. (There's a lot of questions ranging from stupid to 'why am I banned' to 'why did my appeal get denied *whine* *whine*), so it's really a non-stop job and probably takes up 25% of the time whenever you log into SS).

            4) Taking care of appeals with P_L. (hard to quantify time as sometimes referees and captains need to be consulted, which can take many hours if it's complicated or if people need to be tracked down. Time on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday needs to be freed up so appeals can be handled ASAP)

            5) Finding and setting up replacement teams on website, e-mails, official postings, taking them off TWD, etc. (about 1-2 hours every 2-3 weeks)

            6) Adding in or fixing any broken stats on the TWL website. (15 mins/week, worse if there's a lotta screwups like in the early rounds when nothing was recorded and it had to be ALL done manually which probably took an hour)

            7) Making sure new staff are trained to host games. (variable time as there's a staff team who takes care of training as well, but you gotta make sure people are up to standards)

            8) Making official posts on message boards/TWL site, checking for anything that needs to be dealt with on forums and so on. (30 mins/day although it can be somewhat fun if you're a forum nerd already)

            9) Finding the right people to fix bots, website and any problems that come up . (Variable time depending on screwups, but usually 2-3 hours/week, of course P_L has a big role in this though)

            10) Finding/dealing with cheaters. People report double squadders and cheaters all the time, and they need to be checked out. Also it doesn't hurt to do a weekly scan of all the rosters to make sure no one's double squadding although it's less of an issue after the roster lock. (time is variable)

That's all I can think of. That's about 16-20 hours a week of work plus random questions and dealing with the BS that is part of being a TWL Op. Also you'd have to give up your weekends for the remainder of the season. Thursday evenings and Sunday nights you need to be free for schedulling, and Saturday-Tuesday to take care of appeals.

            Still want to help out?

P.S. I talked to Randedl last night, he doesn't want this bitch-work position, he wants it all, and it won't happen at least not until this season is over at least, and maybe not at all if P_L decides he wants to keep doing it.

Add 8 hours instead of the 1 hour for score problems. People always want to see the individual stats (Hi, drow =P) and that takes alot of time to sort out.
Counting on that it makes you work for at least 32 hours or more (Hey, look at that, its a fulltime job! No shit, you simpletons) and we dont even get paid.

Ya me 2. What kind of skills and how dedicated will these 3 new guys be for TWL? It didnt take u very long to replace them. Maybe we should of looked over the field a little bit b4 making a decision. Not that i have anything against these 3, maybe they'll do a great job and i hope they do.

I'd also like to know why all TWL ops are ppl on basing squads? We got 2 squads running twl now. Spastic has 3 TWL ops? Thats a little out there for me. I dont like one squad having all the power. What happens in an A-s Vs spastic game and something goes wrong? I think you should of picked a javer/dueler to add the the ranks for such occasions. Just not really happy about the whole 3 ops on 1 squad.

Edit: agreed hellz. I think rodge was doing all thework and P_L was getting all the credit.

                              heres the deal:

now instead of one person doing almost everything (kinda like wat rodge did), we now seperate tasks among the ops. So there arent too much workload on each person so he/she can concentrate on doing his/her job right. Meetings will happen every week to discuss about appeals and issues that were brought up.

btw, M_M God is a twl op too, but hes so not popular that pure doesnt wanna talk about him :P

3 TWL op's on the same squad? You're just begging for people to accuse you of tainting league.
