Roster Checks

Right before the start of week 5 , i just get done talking about how rosters need to be checked before TWL matches. I have nethila tell me its captains fault. End of week 5 , yet another team caught for uneligible and yet another bad call by staff for punishment. What is wrong with checking the rosters before the match like we use to and put a end to this? If refs dont finish the matches when bot crashes..and dont check rosters...what are they even there for? to type !on to the bot? Check the rosters before the match please! prevent these problems from even happening.

The rules say that te bot or the ref should check eligability before the game starts, but I guess they are just lazy or something.

Well caps should know when they have recruited their players. But it's also stated in rules that ref should check if players are eligible, but I doubt they are doing it. Not even after they have been told there is ineligible player in..

Yes , caps should know...like what happened rapid vs whipe...they knew...it should of been prevented with caps checking rosters before the game...this previous one in TWLB should of been prevented with checking rosters before the game.

the roster eligibility (is that even a word?) is the caps, the players, and the refs's responsibility. Yes, refs should have checked at the start of the match, but it's also the captain's responsibility to know whether his player is eligible or not. Honestly, how hard is it to check? A simple look at the TWL site for the player's join date would pretty much give you the answer, and if you are still confused, you can always ask a TWL Op, or even a regular staff member. We have many people asking us just to ensure they can play and they wont cost their squads a match.

you know what was simple? when we had the countdown on the twl site and it was obvious if you were eligible or not.

what happened to having a line through the persons name? i thought that was still in place last week and almost played 3 ineligible players... erathia kindly told me they werent which sucks cause i coulda got our game replayed and three people banned for two weeks

that thing with the line across the name for last season was inplanted after the hard lock.

Also, the strike-out through the person's name only reflected roster lock eligibility, and nothing more. Furthermore, I believe it only affected the HARD lock (total roster lock) which was in week 6 or 7.

I'm pretty sure you can't appeal your loss on the grounds that you were playing illegal players.

it would be ideal for all illegal players to be checked before playing them.. however it would be even better for the captains to never play them in the first place.. then they would have nothing to complain about

I would be banned for TWL? something i was found not guilty of? when rapid and whipe were guilty of and get a warning? btw heavy handing us the LJ this past weekend ...you guys should be removed from TWLJ ...let a team in that wants to play
