Wow, this thread is worthless... I mean, on top of everything here being complete opinion, incoherent, and pointless, it's already been said before. Why do we need to go down this stale road one more time?

Everytime people talk about this, they forget to include the vital fact that TWLD/TWLJ have death limits per player whereas in TWLB, everyone has infinite lives.

But basically all people here are going to do is pretend that the league that they are better in, is better.

The thing is, TWLD used to be the ONLY thing in TWL. So alot of players from around that era are still active and playing. There is alot more competition in TWLD and TWLJ cause more people play jav elims and wb elims than playing in ?go base. I agree with disq when he says that TWLD is the only league that matters but thats just cause im an oldy and we have that imprinted in our brains. :P

Are you saying that basing is better because more killing goes on? I have to agree. We need a Thor Lob League.

I always prefered LJ, I think it's the most fun and most team oriented. People always say that basing takes superb teaming, thats total bullshit. To have a TWLB Champion type team you only need a few things.

A) A Superb terrier, because quite frankly they CAN do it mostly alone.
B) Two decent sharks, they don't even need to be that good, thats how easy the job is.
C) 5 spiders with good aim, mayeb 1 good camper

javs and wbs aren't as useful, long live the cram.

It's a very basic strat that everybody knows. it's pretty simple, I can go into a game and know what to do in every situation because only a handful of situations come up so I don't really think it takes that much teaming. No more than the other leagues at least.

In LJ you've got two weapons, which makes it more complex than ld, not to mention aiming shots for bouncing and setting shots as luls or traps (you know what I mean, when you're defensive with your bullets and all) not to mention teaming and staying alive in different situations. LJ is the only league where you really need to watch where you are at all times, I mean in the others you don't want to get trapped or anythign but in javing there is definatly higher and lwoer ground.

I'm nto sure what my point is, LD is boring and old, same old every game. Basing is based a lot on lag and all you need to know is your role and have brookus or mythrandir fly around like a crazy fucker.

Yeah you hit it right on. Basically the tired 3 leagues should be abolished and replaced with a TWLTL. I'm glad someone finally understands.

The main difference between TWLD and TWLB is that TWLD is about 50% individual skill (aim, dodge) and 50% teamwork. TWLB on the other hand is about 25% individual skill and 75% teamwork. That's not to say either one is "better" per se than the other, they're just two totally different ways of playing Trench Wars.

I never seen a topic of that brought up, so thats why I find this subject interesting. Maybe it has been brought up in the past, but like I said, I haven't seen the subject before; nor do I care to go dig up any archives.
