Seems like a low vote count. Around 70 people voted for a twlb team? And I'm shocked that Sika (the spider having the best season) only got 29 votes.

For the future, it probably would be best to start all-star voting after the regular season. The game could be played after the finals weekend.

I agree though, this is a pathetic amount of votes. There were a few problems:

Was not announced very well.
The voting page was buried deep in the site.
Requirements to be able to be voted for were VERY fucked up. You had to have played 4 games (I believe) and the site didn't record half the games. Not to mention the voting was opened in the middle of the regular season.

Ease. Was always reliable for 10+ kills in his two previous seasons, surely he could've made allstar again this season.. But did he actually do much in TWLD this season? No. 10:10 vs Warpath. For a powerhouse squad like Sk8 that isn't very impressive. 1-5 vs Heavy for a powerhouse squad like Sk8 that's kinda pathetic. 14-7 vs Rejected Basers a score we should expect from him when he plays a squad like RB. 8-8 vs Rusher well vs Rusher that's ok as long as your squad won. And the nice _unrecorded_ 0-6 vs -Final-. Good job Ease! I don't blame him for being so popular, but he isn't a TWLD allstar.

Jones. In TWDD he plays plenty of wb for Sk8 and does well. Surely he could be TWL allstar material in the coming seasons.. but this season already? Let's take a look at his stats: 10:5 vs Warpath, a good score but it's against Warpath. 8-5 vs Heavy a solid score but it's against Warpath. 1-1 vs Rejected Basers he probably subbed in. 6-5 vs Rusher a solid score. Seems like he's a solid wb.. but fact is, he's a sub for his squad...? That isn't an allstar player. Maybe 'best sixth man' award?

FieryFire: Used to one of the best, but is he still allstar material? Decent scores vs the weaker squads. 7-10 vs Pirates, 5-10 vs -Final-. This guy obviously is on his retour. Sure with his experience he's still better than most, but not an allstar this season.

TWLJ Allstars?

Psymorph: Huh? He could easily be one of the best javs in the league, but fact is he played only 2 games. I thought there was a minimum of games needed to get votes? Or was that another lie?

TWLB allstars?

Terr not:
Although I don't know who else should've been the #4 in terr, I don't think Pure_Luck had a good season. In 4 games he managed to get 10+ deaths. When having a team like Spastic to hide behind that's just too much to be considered an allstar.

Sharks not:
Bahamut-Zero. He lost 4 out of 6 games as shark yet still gets voted as >>allstar<< shark. That just makes no sense. The word allstar just lost it's meaning. I'm also sure if more players would've had the chance to vote this guy would've never made the allstar team.

Fighters Not:
You guys keep voting for mr. Popularity, Ease. Wow, this guy hasn't had a good season in spider. He mvpd once in 9 games. In a lot of those games he seems to have struggled to get close to the best rec in the game or even to the best rec on his team. It's easy to explain why he got picked though. According to the stats he's the only one who played 9 games, which made him the player with the most overall kills. Kind of ironic how screwed up stats made this guy an allstar.
Then there is Leitz, surely an upcoming spider for Basingcrew. Mvpd once! He clearly struggles to be more valuable than his teammates Suede and NL>Terminator. Especially in a tough game vs Anti-Scrub he lets his squad down by getting a negative rec. Aw, not-so-allstar to me.
Minkmink? An allstar? Surely plays a valuable role for spastic. But is in the shadow of Stayon and even Jamal, Shayde and Anon. You won't see him ever carry Spastic to victories. Sorry, definatly no allstar.
Nosey? Wow. I like this guy but he didn't have a good season. Definatly not an allstar this season.

Vitja should've made TWLD probably, he did good for someone in Simulate. For TWLJ I expected Golden_Aim to make it, but I don't care much bout javs. And Necromotic is definatly an allstar shark this season. As for fighters, I'm not there which is just funny since my stats kind of speak for itself (if they'd work). Sprained had a very nice season, earned his place in the A-S lineup. Totem is definatly the upcoming spider of the year. Eeks is Mambo's best fighter. Suede is easily Basingcrew's best spider. And I don't get how Drow didn't get picked either. Except for TWLJ the allstar lines look a bit average to me.

Too bad I didn't have a chance to vote myself. I should've known these douchebag ops would close the voting before the regular season was actually over.. Get a clue for once and stop trying so hard to screw things up this season.

Wow bram, you don't seem bitter at all. I think most people agree with you that the time table in choosing the all-stars were off, but the biggest problem is that not a whole lot of people voted.

I think you miss the point of the All-Stars. You can either have captain-picked or people-picked. When you let the people choose, there are always crazy picks.

The answer to your terr problem is that NO terrs played well this season. Cape had the best season (and still comes in second), but this was mostly due to his surrounding team. I think I only saw one match where the terr was trully making their team play better (Molgan/Inc).

haha sure i can do better but sometimes it's boring to play spider. Ill do my best if i get a shot in that all-star match tho. Do so many actually hate me? not my fault everyone taking seriously those things i say :P

Actually, if all star picking was done by respectful captains, and the player choice from each team is limited to 1 or 2, I'm pretty sure it will be more accurate, and at least be picked with more meticulous thought than it is at current.
