ppl cant say every game and normally go by stats. I wont say anything about Fludd since hes in Sk8 but if u consider looking at his stats you will understand why hes an All-Star.

People who just look at stats are idiots.
If you look at stats per game and outcome of the games a person played in and vs who he got what rec etc... you get a more detailed view of who are and who aren't all stars...
However there are still a lot of aspects that cannot be seen... a 12-10 rec isn't necessarily worse then a 15-10 rec.... cause the 12-10 could have safed way more squaddies from dieing and could have been teaming more etc... also when you make the other team tk... it isn't taken as +1 kill although that's actually what you did or earned.

Those all star people look decent, but still there are some people that don't belong there while there are others that should... imo

And fludd is definatly an all star cus he earned me a lot of money in twlm-j

Imo the #1 twlm for each league should make the all star teams cause he is most knowledged about that certain league.

There is a famous saying, "When you can measure what you are speaking about, and express it in numbers, you know something about it; but when you cannot measure it, when you cannot express it in numbers, your knowledge is of a meager and unsatisfactory kind."

I absolutely agree with you that this kind of thing is MORE than just stats. Multi-sided thinking (something that about 80% of the people in this forum apparently can not do) is always best.

But the 'All-Star' voting method was flawed from the beginning. By limiting the players who had played three games or more, it was not a level playing field for all players. When the voting was first started, Basing Crew had only played 4 games while most of the rest of the league was on game 6. This clearly limited the chances of players on Basing Crew of meeting the 3 game minimum through no fault of their own at all. Additionally, any player who changed teams before the lock was also excluded.

The statistics and the history pages in the league web site are incorrect and incomplete. It is not possible to go back and look at a player’s performance for the season since not all the games are listed for the season. Additionally, there is incorrect or incomplete information the individual ‘Stats’ page on the league web site. The shark stats do not reflect terrier kills or team-kills, two very important stats for a shark. Even worse, the stats do not accurately reflect when a player switches ships in the middle of a game. Although the league has addressed this problem in the last few games and has begun to show the numbers correctly for players that play two or more ships in a game, this has only been for Weeks 8 and 9.

I don't mean to take anything away from those who were choosen, I saw no people on the 'All Star' list who I felt didn't deserve to be mentioned. And I certainly don’t mind the ‘popularity’ aspects of a ‘All Star’ vote, but this particular implementation was about as unfair as it could be and certainly did not allow anyone to vote with good information at hand.

wtf! lolol i was one of the best terr statistically and won 2 out of 5 games. Who could manage to get 4 mins vs spastic when u have such a team? and i couldnt even vote for twlj, and 3 out of 5 spiders in twlb.. the votes were fucked up.
