I dunno what the schedule is for TWL ... I believe PL is gonna keep it at a once a year deal ... but I thought it'd be interesting to have a summer league type of thing which could allow ops to fool around with interesting setting, rule, and map changes in contrast to the traditional idea of TWLD, TWLJD, and TWLB. I believe it would be both fun, a way to test out potential changes for future TWL seasons or events, and would provide a semi-competitive environment (I mean, who doesn't wanna be TRENCH WARS SUMMER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS?)
I will give you an example.
Trench Wars Summer League (TWSL): Basing
Map
You could use some weird map (take ur pick of which). Or perhaps upload a totally new map with 3 entrances or taking away that little cram nub.
Settings
You could test out some new version of the lev that would perhaps be diff from the pub version ... let's say a basing version of the lev (less damage and less radius). And do some other wacky things.
Rules
Maybe do a 12 v 12 map or do this in that 3 team map. Maybe just allow all ships to be played (pub version).
Yeah ... I know ... more work. But this is just an idea. I think it would be fun and useful (for testing out potential changes). It would also provide an interesting and constantly changing challenge ... by forcing teams to adapt to different changes each season.
