This is already all covered in the rules; at least for Dueling and Javelins.
The mvp IS the person with the highest Kills less deaths.
When 2 players have the same Kills less deaths; then the person with the most kills gets the mvp.
it's somewhere in the rules in TWL. i just thinkt hey should start applying this to TWD.
Was that not the rule for the manual hosting?
From what i recall from last twl, the bot gave the mvp to the person with the most points, which was usually also the person with the most kills. Which is the same system as in twd.
How about a case in where there is a person who goes 10-2, and another that goes 15-8. They both have outstanding games, but do you really believe that even though the person with 15 kills stayed in the game and made an outstanding effort to put pressure on the other team, he is inferior to to the person with 10?
Granted this isn't a common case, but it happens at least a few times during the course of the season, and even a few cases in the course of one week of TWL games.
I could argue that the player with 8 lives left created another kind of benefical pressure, i.e. He gave his team 8 lives to spare which is very nice too, and that's scary for the enemy.
Anyway, fact of the matter is, currently MVP only takes account of one factor. The +/- way takes into account two factors so is less likely to be wrong in my opinion.
But yeah, it probably isn't infallible, but less so, eh.
TWL does have kills-deaths MVPs, it's just that it could be nice to get this thing into TWD :P
Also, I think it should be kills-deaths, winning team, ratio, in that order (ratio basically means who got less deaths, but it's nicer to put it like that :P)

the person with 15 kills is more valuabe, mainly because they did more work than the 10-2 player.... and either way, if you have a squad with two players going 15-8 and 10-2 then honestly they werent teaming worth shit and they are a straying squad. To me it's much better to be even with your deaths between all the players...id rather see everyone at 5 than a person at 8 and a person at 2
on top of that, how is it scary for the enemy to see someone at 2 and someone at 8? Any smart squad would hunt out the person at 8 and then team the shit out of the person at 2. Unless hes an amazing player or vs a shitty squad, a 4v1 will win everytime.
Either way this probably doesnt matter, but the 15-8 10-2 scenerio sounds pretty bad to me. Maybe thats because I think of team first, not about rec whoring in a game to get mvp.
oh yeah and I just realized that I kind of strayed away from the topic, but o well.
