With TWL Season 9 approaching.. the top TWL squads seem to be in turmoil!
First of all, the winners of TWLJ/TWLD in Season 7, Syndicate, seem to be back. Unfortunately, this reformation comes with damaging reprcocussions. Sk8 has lost Rough, demonfaze, fireballz, Rule, and Amputate to the allure of Syndicate. This leaves the TWLJ favorites in the dark, with a starting lineup composed of many they had named subs! As of now, sk8's starting lineup seems to be Ease, Raples, Tsunami, Fludd, and Psymorph (if active?). To their credit, this is a still a very good lineup. However, can they show that line to every game? When their starters left for Syndicate, they lost their depth, which is the most important factor in a squads' success. Granted, they also have people like download, physt, zeimonster, and hellzno!, but they now have a lineup which seems beatable. It will be interesting to see how this whole Sk8/Syndicate conflict plays out.
In other news, -FINAL- has awoken from its long slumber, and they look just as effective as ever. -FINAL- has acquired Poozzman, Jones, Rogue, Domi, Ardour, and Adrenaline after their tours with other squads, only to return to their homesquad. In addition, -FINAL- seems to be strengthening their basing lineup also, as I see Cig Smoke and Jrahen are squadjoined to -FINAL-, but not on roster yet, probably due to the 12 hour rule. -FINAL- also has acquired paska, which only strengthens their lineup of old school basers like blood (if active), vihta (if active), Dragonscale, Domi, and Sika. -FINAL- is now back as a top contender in all three leagues, as they never cease to be right in time for TWL. Good luck.
Through all of this, dicE seems to be losing more than they're gaining. With losses like Jones, Jrahen, Cig Smoke, and the probable departing of Deez Nuts and Jack for Syndicate or -F-, who knows how strong dice will be this TWL? Granted, their lineup for LJ and LB is still very good, but will they really be able to gain the people that helped them win last season?
Who knows what will happen?
