I seriously doubt anything will be ready in time to catch cheaters before the start of twl. I do agree with Jason, hold off for as long as it takes. I'm so frustrated with the cheating I've seen that I really don't even care to play atm. I have other reason's for not playing right now but mostly personal (ball reduction surgery). Let just say Bean Bag Chairs.

Cheating should get their rocks off on something else. It would help start TWL faster if a few of you would make a deal for immunity and start snitching out your cheats to the mods. Cheers!

Everyone uses mainly the same program to cheat and staff knows what it is. I seen claw(and his other numerous aliases) give this program about to around 50+ players so far. Some of them I watched him teach how to use it in a private arena... deprecate vys luella etc are among some of the more well known that i was a witness to. Staff was notified this was going on and took and antagonistic approach to it and started calling me a liar so I dropped it. Nothing will happen until there is a high level coder that actually cares enough to look into how to stop memory exploitation,so he can in turn make this a better game to play. I have heard staff tell me that there "is no possible way to cheat now, becuase gashi is detectable now." Do Staff even discuss the current programs out and how to visibily detect them? I'd hope that there was a forum or files of some sort. Staff that thinks there isn't program's out there to use to cheat with, should be axed. Meh anyways i'm just rambling been up 42 hours with no sleep. Night.

This is funny hearing it from a hypocrite. Someone who talks about other people cheating when they themselves. Some of my squadmates, and others in spectate mode (for instance, Tobe) have seen you cheat against my squad and others. How are you going to rat out others when you do it yourself. You cheaters are pathetic, get some real skill. This games a lot more fun when you don't have to rely on whatever it is you're using, and on your own insticts.

If everyone who is cheating stops, there wouldn't be a cheating problem. Captains and asscaps need to take more initiative to stop people on their squad from cheating and to stop cheating themselves.

TWL as it is now means nothing to me, too easy to cheat. On the other hand, there's not much to do to it (that I know of) if priitk doesn't get groovy and either let himself or ekted or someone else work on the client itself, so begging staff not to start twl before the cheater problem is solved would be begging staff to postpone the next TWL season with 5 years or so.

staff having to rely on VISUAL EVIDENCE to detect cheating in a COMPUTER GAME is just stupid when u think about it.

There are probably people cheating to get into TWL, so I wouldn't put it pass to cheat to win it. I'd have to agree, hold off TWL as long as it takes to get something that can detect it. Someone create a program that scans computers for all known memory editors, then in order to play in TWL, you have to agree to a waiver, allowing the program to search your computer for anything. Violation of certain privacy laws I suppose, but that's the reason for the waiver. I dunno, just a thought.

I dunno, I do use CheatEngine - for other games. Haven't a clue how to even use it for subspace, honest...but if my computer were scanned, I'd get my shit banned for ages.

I honestly think staff could technically catch cheaters using speedhacks though, I'm pretty sure there's some sort of *tinfo one could use to interpret if someone's cheating, if a bot could check them it'd be neat. Could be wrong, though
