TWL isnt the only league in trenchwars. i just dont know why so many people bitch/whine about the waiting period so much. Maybe DSB's league starts right after the previous season, but do they have other leagues? During off season here, you have TWD to play with. TWD has became so common that people forget it's also a league of some sort.

If you say you don't start TWL cause of the bots (excluding the cheat bot, if there is gonna be one), then I wouldn't even call you programmers. Why can't 10 staffers do it in 3 months when I can do it in notime.

Im not interested in helping staff which is calling players obssessed idiots who care about playing league. It shouldn't be needed anyway.
Get to know what needs to be done excactly, find the right players to do this and ask them how long it would take to get this done, then let the players know when league will be started.
I think its wrong to say league is going to start some date, then around that date think, oh yeah we need to set up this league, what needs to be done? dunno who could actually.. get to know what can be done and what can't be done. If you're not capable of holding up a website which works with bots, don't, if you think you can, then why would it need to take this long? The right time to get things done for next league would be right after the last one, not on the date the next one is supposed to start. Because of this it seems staff does not care and are lacking to me.
The way I would like to help is coordinate, since I believe this is where things seem to go wrong. And is why I was saying on a lighter note earlier "Up to who is the starting date? replace the guy!" I believe the date being suggested could be reasonable. To me it seems staff likes their title, and do stuff when being bugged to do so, the one being bugging them is supposed to be the coordinator, not the players.

You wouldn't have a clue about the things that hit Twl staff hard Sumps.
It's been said many times, so I'm gonna repeat it. Twl is coordinated right after the previous season, but the Twl departement got hit hard with cooders leaving and people being busy in real life. :crying:

Watch yourself when you say Staff doesn't care, afterall we are the people that (after some time) get this league going, its not just bot coders, twl Ops, website developers but also the people that referee the Twl games and preform task behind the scenes. What would happen if we stopped organizing this stuff?

Maybe there is a lack of information, but things just aren't going as smooth as palnned. Getting the right replacements isn't an easy task. We are all eager to play in Twl (yes even me Sumps *hint* ) and deep down inside, you know we are doing the best we can. We'll forget the lil outbreak of all your emotions. :laughing:

Jesus Christ... Just fucking host manually if the bots are going to cause so much effort for very little payoff. And just set up a damn table for the website. We don't need the damn stats... Or just mirror the TWD site entirely.

I Honestly do not understand, how we can have TWD running relatively smoothly the whole year round and yet TWL takes so long.
