this is kind of thread that almost begs for negative feedback given the "quality" of posters, which is why I posted in it, thus advertently nominating myself for critique (I need fresh material in order to continue being self-deprecating.)

Its the same names every season, talent stays the same imo since its commonly new teams, same players. United forces for example, prove me wrong but to me they look like last years Dragon. Quicksand looks like last years gantz.

Heavy imo has a foot up on half the teams entering TWL because they play as 5v5 not 1+1+1+1+1* vs 1+1+1+1+1*

Things will obviously change, but it's pretty consistantly been the same # of squads.

Heavy is ranked #2 because of two reasons. Their Ave R is the lowest in the top 8, and when they do play decent squads, it is only with the same players (Apok, Annoyance, Slangin Rock + 1) playing. I can only assume these are your top 3?

TWLD is a 5vs5 league and the 4 on 4 style rush you guys seem to rely on probably won't be enough to consistantly compete and win enough games to move on.

Last years line was Annoyance, Apok, and Slangin rock plus the supporting players. This line was enough that they should of made playoffs.

Heavy has the same group of people on for a lot of the day , everyday. So of course you are going to be playing the same people over and over. If we arent in the mood to play, we dont play. If we are lazy but want to play, we play lower ratings.

Can you really blame us and judge us on that?

Would you please explain your reasons on putting Quicksand and United Force above Heavy? Ave rating seems irrelevant, same goes for pointing out who the "top" players on either squad is.

As a team, what makes their squad stronger in your mind?

I agree that 4v4 TWD is a pretty crappy comparison to 5v5 in a TWL environment. They're pretty different setups even though they don't seem like that much of a diff.

Being good at 4v4 in TWD doesn't mean you'll be good at 5v5 TWL.

Btw: this isn't directed at heavy, it's just a general statement.

That's a dumb excuse. That happened so long ago that it is a non-factor.

But if you want. . . By the same reason, there are far more squads at 800 rating now than there were when twd reset. It is still balanced by who you play.

Kane, you don't need to justify why you guys play or don't play. I don't care about that. I was just saying, don't get too rev'd up over a twd ranking. After all, the last time Syndicate and Grapevine were on a twdd ladder together, British Squad was #1.

I think United force is ahead of Heavy because Tys/Aerin/Milos/Bharat/Bike is a pretty solid top line. Having players who can steal a game by themselves will probably come down to that last playoff spot. I don't know about Quicksand to be honest, but i just have a random feeling they are more capable of winning the games they will need to than heavy. They might not make it. . . Halcyon prolly will in their stead.

You just asked for opinions. My opinion is that Heavy hasn't kept up with the competition.

Maybe its just me but I think theres a difference for a squad who played a bunch of games at the beginning vs squads 1100 and lower than a squad formed a couple months later playing 1300+ squads off the bat.
