rand is right..maybe not about placing halcyon over us but about the ladder. if you only play squads with your top line on then yeah you can win a lot of those games..but squads like gv/shin/-f-/sk8/diso play with their javs in a lot cause they just dont care that much, so you're not getting to really see whos better there. And for the record Heavys been playing better squads of late I guess, but dont try saying theyre not guilty of playing a lot of confidence boosters either. Guess they could be like Soulcamp though

Tys/Aerin/Milos/Bharat/Bike

This line looks very similar in skill level to Dragons starting line last year. Picking names and throwing them all together is easy to do. Why has only 3 squads won TWLD pretty much since it started?

Having players that can steal a game themself? You want one player to shine every week? Take away the game handles and take away personal recs. Theres 5 ships and 50 kills needed. Having a player steal a game imo is luck.

This is about TWL , not TWD....who really gives a damn about numbers? 5 players 50 kills. Randedl your predictions seems based on names rather than the overall squad.

Any squad that has more players than really needed for TWL is asking for trouble. Leaves decisions at game time on who to play or not. Pick the wrong person one week and the whole week can be lost.

Heavys starting line is very well known now. You would think after playing them so many times they would be easy?

im not trying to underestimate any squad but i think quicksand will be the only team we will get a bigger win than 50-20 against.

i think however those last 3-4 spots will be given to those squads that can horde a full consistant 5 player lineup, and that would add a few more squads in my opinion fighting for the last playoff places. either way. this season will be fun to watch, from the bench or the field doesnt matter to me

I think Heavy's line is pretty solid this year. Question is: is it strong enough playing 5 vs 5 when all squads try their best and does it have enough depth ? Time will tell.

meh, i like heavy. Im glad they have stuck it out over the seasons and even more glad that they are becoming more competative than they once were. However, i think they like to take too much credit in TWD wins playing only their top line every game when all the other competative squads really cant be bothered and usually toss in whoever. Top line vs top line will change the dynamics for sure, but with all the practice heavy's top line gets together, im sure they are capable of a few hard earned upsets.

what's really annoying is how we are all talking about TWL for 6 months straight as if it is going to start tommorrow. By the time season 9 rolls around, the leaves will be changing color and the squads/rosters will all be different...

Heavy is very similar to -KAOS- when we had psychoskip, poid, kane, myself, crystal ect... We werent very good at the time on paper but we were winning games because we had experience playing together. I cant tell you how far heavy will go into the season or what rec they will have. IMO if Heavy gets better then a .500 w/l ratio then its an accomplishment for them. And I expect that if they do get over 500, they should be in playoffs considering the evenness of the midd-tier squads rosters.
