TW was started as a Basing arena supporting the team aspects of the game. The fact that TW has lost that focus and now supports arenas like Elim does not make things like warbird and jav playing the most important aspect of the game. (I would also agree that Basing has lost it's focus with the concentration on spiders and crams.)
Simply put, being a good warbird and/or jav is a subset of the game that TW was established to support. It is no different than if the NBA split out slam dunking and tried to declare it a stand-alone sport instead of a particular skill. And if Basing is not careful, it too will soon become nothing but a subset of the original team-orientated vision.

But all of that aside, surely no one would try to say that teaming with with a single type of ship that had specific ship attributes is harder than teaming with multiple ships with multiple attributes.

From a neutral point of view, Shinobi is weak in LD too, so it's a bad example.

Your such a moron. If we are weak than UF sucks ass. I think we beat UF plenty of times and UF beat us plenty as times as well. Just because we are not so obsessed to win all matches like some of you in this game we don't win much. And we rather have a squad with some mature people who don't play 24 hours everyday than all those whiny newbies who scream:

But I will say that since the basics of teaming in TWLD and TWLJ might be easier (because there are less combinations) the level is higher, which kinda makes it "harder" to team properly in TWLD and TWLJ.
