i will make 2 quick points before i go to dinner:

1) when you enter TWL as a squad, you as a squad have the responsibility to make to the game. If you cant make it, you prob dont deserve it. It's not other people's fault that you cant show a decent line at the time given. Once again, its a squad vs squad league, not a top5 vs top5 league.

2) the time slot given to you guys doesnt favour anyone. If anything, it screw up sk8 more than it screw up you guys. Sk8 suggested sat.

Hmm let me explain this in full since I don't think anyone but our squad really grasps the current situation for this weekend. Cowpope is banned for doublesquadding, Surfer is on vacation, IVF and Deluge left the squad, Myself and Izor are working until atleast 3:30 and that is if I get off early, Exalt and Ale are both working all weekend, and they only have a 25% chance of getting off early, Racka can't make the game either chances are. That leaves us with no line until atleast 4pm, and that is even if we can pull a line together this week. On top of that, since myself and Izor are the only captains, there will not be a captain on to add players into the game until 3:30. Now I know you are thinking and, "sk8 might not be able to have people on at that time". Sk8 has a BD which requires eight people at 4pm, and so would it really be too much to ask, for the sake of having a somewhat worthwhile TWL to move our game to the 5pm slot? Plus based on other europeons posts on these forums, they are probaly just going to miss some plans to go out and drink and won't be able to go out for another hour after the basing game ends. While because of WORK our squad will probaly have to forfeit this game. Think about it and decide if you honestly want to win like this anyways. If you want to reschedule this LD game to week 11 I would be more than happy to, and maybe then we could find a time that we could both agree on.

Damn, if I had known whining about people being banned or squadhopping or having real life issues was a valid excuse for not showing up or a reason to make myself into a martyr, I never would have dissolved my squad! Pity

I saw this post and skipped all the ones after. The point is Izor, you can be as right as rain, and it still won't change jack fucking shit. Maybe if you had some support from the TW community this would change, but you've chased alot of it away. So maybe it's time for an attitude change hmm? It really doesn't matter if Nethila really does hate you and wants to screw with your times, because in the end - no one cares enough for it to change except for the less then 20 people on QS.

Is that how you want the league run? This is all in good fun until it happens to your squad I suppose. But Disq pointed out a rule violation in his scheduling and had it fixed immediately. His post wasnt much less aggravated than mine. If you have these rules, whats the point if you wont follow them? Hell, I would have accepted the sat 4 pm slot on scheduling if I knew that we would have been given an illegal slot. As you can see:

I was pretty sure that we were going to get a decision in our favor by the rules. Or at the very least, something we could make. I suppose I'm just beating this to death at this point, but no one ever answered why that rule exists. They just say "you should be able to make your (illegally placed) time slot or take the forfeit".

hmm, well after reading this thread carefully, and also looking over who showed for qs and sk8...How exactly do you come to the conclusion that we were screwed more? being sk8 still showed 5 players.
