First, I will say that -f- played a very good game. Better than I'd seen them play all season. You deserved that playoff spot more than us today imo, but to me that game had the feel of what I would expect a semi-final to be, considering squads like united force shinobi and squad!! are in quarters. Regardless I'm not taking anything away from your win and you wont see me say it was a bs game in any way.
Now to my actual point that we got screwed pretty bad this season. These TWL ops are just plain terrible. I dont need to say about week 6's scheduling low blow, or the lack of appeal being held cause I already said enough, but the effect it had on the end of the season pretty much only ended up in guaranteeing squad!!'s spot in playoffs (look at their schedule, even in beating us no one can say they deserve to be there, including them). The +/- we would have gotten from that game would have
put us in the 1st round bye, and -f- would have stomped squad!! like 50-25. Not to mention us winning that game, which is a good possibility since we beat the other top 2 squads in regular season in our conference, would have made us 2nd seed over Diso.
As if that scheduling isnt bad enough, week 10 provided another slap on the wrist from the child in charge. Ancients decided to schedule their forfeit, and even though scheduling rules say that the op WILL pick a time between 14:00-16:00, pl decided to blow that off and choose ancs 13:00 time, even after they disrespected the league by forfeiting all their games the week before.
The final thing that PL could possibly do was try to screw us in this mini-tourny right? When I sent a ?help about it on monday asking if we could schedule it, he started to actually pm me, which at first was a welcome change since his attitude toward most things this season has been to just ignore things (see later about warpath). I soon after realized he was just out to screw me again:

^ rofl, childish. Fortunately Disq and the rest of -f- arent on Sk8's level, and didnt go for this. Honestly its probably for the better for us that we didnt win that, considering with him doing scheduling it is nearly impossible for us to get a time we can make.
If anyone here thinks that I'm going to say anything against the ops specifically because of what they do to my squad though, well you're an idiot I know most people dont care. Warpath was almost equally screwed, except they werent a playoff contender. Their week 6 appeal was because the bot could not add eligible players and forced them to add a line they werent comfortable with. To put this in terms most of you can understand, lets imagine Anti-Scrub had an LB against some mediocre basing squad and key players like brookus couldnt get added because of the bots. Chances of this game being replayed? almost 100% imo. Fast forward to week 10 or something. Asmodeus, while hosting 3 games at once due to shitty planning by staff (6 games in a world cup time slot), didnt realize that excalibur had left before scorereset because he was busy hosting one of his other games. I was at this game, and the score was 15-15 or so pretty deadlocked, then Asmod kept speccing excal for being at 10 deaths and it very quickly became lopsided.
Perhaps if you care about neither squad, you care about the league overall however. How half assed does it look when 2 appeals are left dangling for 4 weeks, while in between other ones are being answered. How bad is it when I ask about the all star game on friday at 10 pm EST, and nobody knows whats happening with it because staff doesnt communicate? Or how bad is it when Weaver, who isnt even involved in TWL at all, has to post what really happened to the rest of TW, presumably because the other staff is too lazy to deal with it. And in case no one noticed, games toward the end of the season were being scheduled late on friday night (EST), giving people little to no time to see when theyre even playing.
Whatever, the only reason I stayed through this lackluster season was because I wasnt going to give up on the rest of my squad, it isnt fair to them to just give up cause a douchebag on staff is abusing us all season. Next year dont think for one second that any of us are coming back though, we have more important things to do than worry about what time staff is going to give us more than playing the game itself. After what has happened to other squads and the general disinterest this game has seen during the season, I'd be fairly surprised if we were the only squad who just flat out wont play with these lazy fucktards running shit.
