Scheduling Suggestion

I figured this *may* be a good idea. There are two versions:

1) TWL staff randomly schedules a time slot for every TWL game. All games are on Sunday.
2) TWL staff randomly schedules a time slot for TWL games in which a time slot is not agreed upon by caps of both teams. All games are on Sunday.

I've always thought this was a good idea, but it will never fly. People will always want the chance to agree on a time.

Perhaps there should be reserved time slots for each weekend that everyone knows (let's say saturday 3pm). If captains can't agree on a time, staff puts the game in that time slot (excluding the ones where only one cap posts). So captains will know ahead of time when their game will be if nothing is agreed upon.

Well i think it would work and it would take away from those squads who take advantage of the flaws in our system or simply dont even try to negotiate a time. The only downfall to having a set schedule is alot of squads wont always have top lineups on which would suk.

Go with version #2 then:

Your version makes it so that any team that naturally wants 3 PM will just hafta disagree with their opponent in order to get that default 3 PM slot. Why not just make it a random slot instead? The time frame 1-5 PM EST isn't that wide that things get too hairy.

What's 4 PM EST translate into for you guys?

You know ... if we did TWLD/TWLJ and TWLB seperately ... then we could narrow the time slot to 1-4 PM EST ... or even narrower.

So what, if your to little to show up to 11pm games don't play. TWL isn't all the time, people should be able to make some sacrifices, if they don't want to, don't play.
