    One thing though. In season 3, Elusive won TWDL which at the time had about as much standing as TWL in the eyes of people in TW. In season 4, -Final- won TWDL (or whatever they called the pyramid league of that season) in (I believe) both Javs and Wb. Yet again that was almost equally as important as TWL. But since your post is undoubtably about TWL, I guess it works.

      Yeah Epi, I've always wanted for someone to dig up the stats for TWDL and
      TWBL! (I'm quite sure there was TWBL...?)
      How many seasons were there, who won, who were the runner ups and so on..
      I know Scrotal's Horde won one TWDL title

      And what was that league in the middle of the long TWL waiting period..
      TWT something? When Melee won something with Plague Rabbit as captain.

      But yeah, this post was purely about TWL, but someone really needs to get
      the records straight concerning the earlier leagues.

          Cripples won a TWBL and were undefeated throughout a second one, until Wildfire won one match to get to the top of the pyramid, thus winning the title as a result. That whole pyramid thing was crazy (and stupid)... thankfully it was replaced with the TWL system not long after.

                    Light didn't win no TWLB Title. They won the regular season, thats it. They fucking dissolved, nobody actually credits that title as the slightest bit legit. The LB cup is more legit than that, thats for damned sure.


                    P.S. for all those lighters who i'm sure will come flying out of nowhere, my instant rebuttle is that you went from 30-0 to 0-3 in all of 20 seconds. Nobody will ever touch your record for going undefeated in all 3 leagues, just as nobody will touch your record as coming in the clear favourite in all 3 leagues and not even making it past the semis.
                    The only TWO TIME TWLJ All-Star and TWLB All-Star who never played a game.

                      Just to make it a tad more complicated:

                      Average competition in leages is based on how many who are playing regularily. I think everyone can agree that winning a title now is easier than what it used to be. I can remember TWLD seasons where there were 3-4 supersquads, and 3-4 squads that could be considered underdogs for the title.

                      Just to take an example:
                      Sieges victories in TWLD should count for for more than Strays win this year, due to the obvious difference in difficulty (it's still an awesome achievement, congratulations Stray). Hell, I'd be more optimistic winning against Strays TWLD champion lineup, rather than a blood/banzi/foxy/whoever/whoever combination from Elusive/Syndicate even with them being rusty and inactive.

                        Also: squads like TW Elites, Elusive and Siege did not have a chance of winning LJ or LB titles since they were implemented after their time. Except for season 5 Siege and the season 6 remake of Elusive of course.

                        That is not to take away from the accomplishments of Dice or Syndicate for example, but to just point out that the point system can be a bit distorted.
