So i guess i'd have to make a suggestion map to straight up few things and suggest some new changes. Too bad i'm really busy and lazy.

Could someone please make a map and submit it here. Someone could also list some changes that needs to be done.

Fixes needed for TWSD to be playable

- No Random damage
- in 4v4 have 40 deaths not 50.
playing to 50 deaths 4v4 takes ages.
- new map (more like webcrawler, thats a fun spider map)

Addiotnal changes that might make it more fun

- addition of 4 flags, holding all of the four makes other team lose. Or something similar. Donno if this would make it fun or not...
- attach. Allow spiders to attach to each other like in ?go zombies
- no anti
- scrape the whole idea and run a strikeball league instead.

Im not totally against a spider league, but Im definately more for a strikeball league or even a hockey league for that matter, but lets not get off on that tangent on this thread. The map before was one of the bigger issues for me. I will say that TWSD needs alot more support before it should even be considered for TWL. Especially considering the amount of work required. Maybe a little advertising for TWSD is needed.

Hmmm I agree about the 50 death limit (in a 4v4), there should however be an individual death limit (like 14 or 15).

Well people could start playing it for fun, but since its rarely even played for fun it would be a fairly big risk to put all the time into setting it up with such a great possibility of it having as much interest as it does now.

There are currently new maps and ideas being tested for TWSD in DEV the concept was a good one and will not die without a fight. Staff as well as DEV members do listen to what you are saying despite what people think. And hey ya know what I heard {psst don't tell anyone} it will be a major improvement to the current map with all concerns kept in mind. B)

dads, it's great that you guys are working on a new map, but can't you just take random damage out in the meantime? NO serious player likes that.

Go TWSDX in Trench Wars is currently running as a continuous timed event that is the main map design at current for TWSD.

The new TWSD will be alot better than the current TWSD, and from the concept agreed upon, I already support it for a league spot. We'll obviously have to wait for everyone to decide, though.

TWSD is dead because of crappy map and settings, which noone has bothered to fix despite the whining. It's like putting javs on a wb arena and saying TWLJ would suck.

That's what I and some others have been saying for a pretty long time now... They never changed it... Oh wait, they did... They turned it into a wb map even more by removing those small getaway holes top left and right of the base and substituting it with them big open places anyone can run away in... It's just the majority sucks at true javving and therefor rather has a big open area in which they can thrust up to enemies with their awesome spikes and/or cheats.
Dodging with jav for me is supposed to be about anticipating with what shots he can shoot you or a wall close to you and making sure you do not go there... It isn't about having a nice spike just at the time a guy shoots you giving you a nice escape... Also killing shouldn't be about thrusting in hoping that guy cannot see your line perfectly giving you a closerange shot without him being able to do something about it... Killing in jav is supposed to be about bounced shots shot such a way that it is impossible for your opponent to dodge it... But i guess this needs a map for javving in which it is way harder to team and in which skill is more of a factor then lag, and a vast majority of tw wouldn't want that I guess.
