X. Syndicate- Not going to rank my own team, I just ranked Syndicate and Thunder as X, because it's really going to be about who has a better game that day, we've beaten them a lot, and they've beaten us a lot.
X. Thunder- Good team chemistry because they're sk8 with a different name.
Lineup: Ease, Vitja, JuNka, Collusion, Racka/creature/exquisite/bike
3. Disoblige- A squad that's been around so long is going to have continuity because previous generation's of Diso will bring in new generations and they'll team well together. I'm putting them at 3rd knowing full well that they are nearly as likely to take 2nd or 1st.
Lineup:
Last standing, Phrenitis, Displaced, Scoop, Bram/Duclover/Audit
4. DicE- They have some laggy people and good teaming, so I can see them going as high as 2nd but not 1st, mostly cause the player they rely most on, Mega Newbie, doesn't handle pressure too well.
Lineup: Deez nuts, Mega Newbie, Paska, Megaman89, Mess/Peru
5. Sake- I'm putting them at 5th cause they're a new squad (even though they've been remade quite a bit), plus they're teaming could use some work and their consistently aggressive tactic doesn't work.
Lineup: Delectable, Pascone, Deluge, War, Tys/Squadless/Medic
6. Rampage- Could be wrong here but I don't think these guys are practicing enough, obv they're an older squad but that doesn't guarantee chemistry if it's just been formed, though I think it would be nice and possible for them to win.
Lineup: Ripper, Weaver, Blood, Miser, Banzi/Sirius/Hercules/Army/Jack
7. -Final-:-Final- This could be their one bad season. Just like all previous seasons they don't focus on TWL until the last minute, but this will be different unless some significant people run back to -f- like in previous seasons.
Lineup: Sika, Domi, plob#f, Scorch, Swimkid/Rednaz/destroy/owner/guru^
8. BoZ-I haven't seen these guys in a dd in a long time, not sure if they're focusing on javs now or what but with their lag and teaming combined I won't be surprised to see some upsets from these guys but don't expect them to place higher than 4th.
Lineupmaybe exit,elbryan,unexpected,skeleton, anzu/eragon/singularity
9. Unleash- I'm ranking these guys at 9 knowing full well if they show up and play their best they could defeat most of the squads in TWLD.
Lineup: Killergt,Exalt,Gnarl,grouch, Devilish/Ups/Kid kaos/ Flare
10: Subdue- Don't really know a lot about these guys but I see some familiar names, these guys could definitely have some upsets.
Lineup: Janitor,Crimson X,King Baba,TNTkilla, not u/snalltrippinLast edited by Reaver; 01-26-2007, 12:46 PM.1:Best> lol why is everyone mad that roiwerk got a big dick stickin out his underwear, it's really attractive :P

I do not intend nor do I wish to compete in this TWL season for any squad. You can just put Medic or Squadless there Reaver.Last edited by Tyson; 01-26-2007, 02:42 PM.Blood Love Overcomes Our Depressions

1.) Syndicate (8-2) - Definitely a powerhouse squad this season. I can see them winning TWLD with ease. The skill and depth of their players will be reflected in their performance this season.
Key Player: Demonfaze
Lineup: Demonfaze, B4sERmaN28_X, Colonel, Reaver, Death row
Subs: Azreal, Amputate
2.) Disoblige (7-3) - Not going to talk about my own squad, but the line is pretty obvious.
Key Player: Last Standing
Lineup: Last Standing, Phrenitis, Scoop, Annoyance, Skepsis
Subs: Displaced, bram
3.) Dice (7-3) - They got a few laggy players that are capable of twisting the game around at the most unexpected times. I can see them as TWLD champs with a few lucky wins.
Key Player: Mega Newbie
Lineup: Mega Newbie, 8^O8=====D~~, Megaman89, Paska, Annul
Subs: Caos, Fission
4.) Thunder (7-3) - Sk8 version 2 is back for TWL. I highly doubt they'll be able to win LD this time, but they'll get pretty far. I can see them being in semi-finals, but not further.
Key Player: Vitja
Lineup: Vitja, Ease, Zapata, Collusion, Creature
Subs: Primetime, Bike
5.) -FINAL- (6-4) - Pretty obvious they'll return and dominate again judging by the past seasons. I see a bunch of aliases on their roster, I can't really tell who's who so I'm skeptical with these predictions. Sika will probably dominate once again.
Key Player: Sika
Lineup: Sika, Domi, Scorch, Destroy, Vihta (not sure which will get active)
Subs: badbOyZ, Strike ?
6.) Rampage (6-4) - A squad full of vets, but will they perform up to their potential? I can see them making playoffs, but no further. Alot of practice is what they'll need before TWL if they are to get anywhere far.
Key Player: Blood
Lineup: Blood, Nikolai, Ripper, Hercules, Miser
Subs: Banzi, Eternal
7.) Sake (5-5) - A relatively unstable squad, skill wise. Sometimes they play impressively, sometimes not. They might get a few good wins and make playoffs, depending on their luck this season. I can see them choking vs squads like Unleash, but winning games vs squads like Dice.
Key Player: Delectable
Lineup: Delectable, Cowpope, Deluge, Pascone, Kyou
Subs: Unrealistic, Tanzu
8.) Ash (4-6) - Ash is performing alot worse than anticipated, when Cumu DB and Venomarse were planning to make a squad. They might pull some upsets and make it to playoffs if they're really lucky, but that's highly unlikely.
Key Player: Ardour
Lineup: Ardour, Delegate, Drastwing, Beasts, Cumulonimbus
Subs: Ison, Robber-
9.) Unleash (4-6) - This squad is not going to make playoffs, but I can see them getting a few good wins. They'll probably pull an upset or two, who knows.
Key Player: Grouch
Lineup: Grouch, Fantus, KillerGt, Kid Kaos, Deck
Subs: Exalt, Opps
10.) Ancients (3-7) - With DEA back, they might get some solid wins again, but they won't be getting anywhere this TWL. I expect alot of no-shows from them this season due to inactivity.
Key Player: DEA
Lineup: DEA, Exe, Pakkastin, Soppakauha, i.d.
Subs: Altitude, Spikey
11.) BoZ (2-8) - They will make TWLD, but I just can't see this squad as good warbirds comparing to other squads. I don't see them getting more than 2 wins even though I like this squad. They definitely need to recruit some good wbs.
Key Player: Marnix,
Lineup: Marnix, Elbryan, Unexpected, Mjollnir, John
Subs: Singularity, Arcturus
12.) Squad!! (1-9) - Without the key players that carried them to playoffs last season (Fuzon, Paky Dude), this squad will see no success. I can't see them being Gantz, but they definitely won't do good.
Key Player: Golden Duck
Lineup: Golden Duck, ExcaliburX2O, SLANGIN ROCK, Unabled, Saetep
Subs: Neocount, NightCalibur1:Kthx> Hey Cower ill let you play the next game if you can name me five medieval weapons.

I'm not a TWLD expert by any means, but I've noticed that every season, the squads with inactive veterans are underestimated and always prove everyone wrong.7:Warcraft> Why don't white people hit their kids anymore?

I'm going to list squads and just talk about them. This is mostly because I'm obviously going to be biased if I rank people and I'll comment accordingly. This way, though, I can be somewhat objective. Oh, and I'm not going to mention squads I don't care about
Syndicate: These guys always have a few of the same core players that carry them through. They also always pick up 1 or 2 and lose 1 or 2. To be honest, I don't see them winning TWL unless they all abandon WoW for a month to practice. Most of the hype about Syndicate is the fact that it is a squad with reputation built on years of experience. That reputation has brought them more seasons than I think they deserve, but it has done so nevertheless. I don't think they'll win this season, but we'll see what happens!
Thunder: A very good team. I don't know too much about the players except that most of them are old sk8. I've honestly never understood what the big deal is about people not being able to do well vs. sk8 because I've never had a problem getting 10+ against them, but apparently I'm missing something everyone else is! So for that reason alone they could win, but I don't think they will.
Disoblige: I don't know how active these guys are as they are mostly Finnish and I am not (at least I think they are?). They are really nice guys with a good sense of sportsmanship, so for that reason alone I hope they do well, but I don't think they'll win a TWLD, even though after all this time they probably deserve one.
Unleash: These guys will pull a lot of upsets this season that simply won't make any sense, just like they did last season as Shinobi. They need to stick with the same roster for a few seasons though before they'll be good enough to take a title. The good thing about this squad, though, is that it isn't a "built for a title" squad but more of a "journey for a title" squad. In other words, this is a team with 1 purpose in mind, getting a title, but unlike many supersquads they aren't just in it to get a title and leave. They're more enjoying the experience of playing together and the time spent achieving the goal.
Sake: I have to say I was at first extremely annoyed by these guys, gameplay-wise and smack-talk-wise. But the last time we played them they were very good sports. They aren't going to win in their first season because there are so many other squads with more experience, but they'll do better than 5-5.
I'll post more later, I'm out of time!-Dave

Nice predictions but I would throw Eternal in Rampages lineup over banzi (due to activity) and Primetime in Thunders lineup (due to him playing better than most of the wbs they have at the moment). :turned:Albert Smiles is my idol!

Yea I can agree with that 4. Most our core players played in Shinobi together plus we have solid wbs thruought the line up. We Have alot of fun no matter if we win or lose.
But I like the fact we are just as highly predicted as we were last year when we held the 3rd playoff seed in our devision. Keep ranking us at the bottom losers B)2 time TWLD runner up.
If not a medal, cant I get a Ribbon??
