Oh and a good start would just be going through and anywhere you have a line that says "OR DIE('ERROR MESSAGE');" on the end, truncate that line of code. There is no reason for you to tell me the query, the host, the database name, the mysql user, and the error directly from mysql whenever there is an error. hell, even the default error messages don't give you that information. actually, the error i'm looking at could just be left at the initial line saying "An error occurred" in italics.

Well, this isn't the place to ask maybe asking Riistar or Lizard Fuel will help you find answers. What won't help is making posts that suggest I or someone else did something wrong when you don't really know anything.

I have to say I'm really amazed at how shitty most of the people here are when it comes to trying to help. I post a message saying there's something wrong, even give advice on how to fix it (which isn't even necessary, it's common sense) because I happen to care about the game I've spent 7+ years playing, and instead of "thanks" or "we're already on it" I just receive implications that I've done something wrong.

If you want to know why so many quit never to be seen again, that's an obvious thing to look at. I can understand the fact that there will be an Evul Fly on every forum with nothing better to do than make useless posts, but for people involved higher up (that's you, Neth), I expect a little more professionalism and a little less elitism.

Ok, now that I said all that I realized I may have misjudged your tone, but I'm going to leave it up there in case I didn't. Still, let's stop making pointless posts when there is actually an important issue being discussed.

EDIT: and Evul, sorry for calling you an idiot. Your post wasn't totally useless, I just didn't appreciate that sentence I quoted from you. It added nothing to the discussion and seemed like a direct attack on my character, hence the response.
