TWL-D Week 2 predictions

Well Jack I kinda agree but let me say this, coming from a person who did legitimately lag bad (back when all I could get was dialup) many years ago, people can lag really bad and still not be cheating. However, people that are gaining an advantage like that should be prohibited from playing TWL, not banned from the game altogether, since TWL is the most competitive league in the game it should be on equal playing levels for everyone. Also because I think the risk of letting someone play TW (besides TWL) even though they are lag inducing is worth taking rather than banning someone who wasn't actually breaking any rules. If they don't have access to an internet connection required for TWL well, tough luck, there are many other aspects of TW for them to enjoy and besides, if they really are cheating then they'll decide to stop which in the end is the best result you could hope for. Just my 2cents

After week 1 both Ash and -f- are really looking for a win. I'm almost tempted to go with Ash on this one. They may have lost badly to us in round one, but they didn't have a top line in, while we did. They also seem to be more active, and I like alot of the guys on the squad. When it comes down to it though, I think -F- is going to pull it off in the clutch.

dicE vs. Disoblige
Definatly have to go with the disney. I learnt alot being on Disoblige, and one thing stands out alot. These guys rock the season, but by the playoffs they seem bored and busy with other stuff :P . It's almost like they really do just qualify in the playoffs so they dont have to re-make the twd thing! Gamewise though, I've never been convinced by dicE as a wb squad. Plus, Last Standing and the other diso dds have really only grown finer with age. This could be the year Diso took ld if they went for it.

MVP: Last Standing/Ward or Caos/Tys/Lomoro

Thunder vs. Sake
I like Thunder in this one. They are missing some key players from the LD 9 Sk8 team, but they're still a strong core. Sake does have talent, but I've never really seen them pull off great games against good squads on a consistant basis. Even not liking Sake all that much, they should still give Thunder a run for it's money after winning in week 1.

Savanger vs. Syndicate
I'll try not to indulge I have to go with Syndicate. As much as I think, truly think, that if Syndicate doesn't show up a good line, or takes us lightly - we might be able to upset them. With a top line and alot of hard work of course. I've played long enough to bet my money on Syndicate. We're a hard-working squad of guys, Syndicate just has the experience. Even if we loose, expect a good fight.

Rampage vs. BoZ
BoZ does have a good wb line, but Rampage is just too old-school. If I had to pick an early twld winner this would be one of my choices. Sure it may seem a little trendy to pick them as a favourite, but lets face it. The guys on that roster have alot of old ld titles on them. All they have to do, is get really serious, and no one would stop them. They've won lds before, the only thing that might prevent them from winning now, is alot of these guys are rusty.

Syne vs. Squad!!
Both squads have alot of fresh wbs to twl. Personally, Squad!! having been around longer, and having a good first week will most likely take this match out of morale, and a little more activity/experience. Looks like a good start of the season for Squad!!

Last Standing is on form, he's proved that already, scoop is going to be solid all season, Phrenitis is gonna be playing, I havent just come back from a 2 week vacation, and Bram can't play against "newb" squads, which should be solved vs Dice.

MVP - Phrenitis, hes gonna steamroll on sunday.

Thunder vs. Sake

Thunder will be looking to win two weeks in a row, but they might underestimate Sake, tough call, but im giving this one to Thunder.

Ok, here's my attempt...im not a wb but I have a vague knowledge of squads etc.

-FINAL- vs. Ash, 50-39

Ok -F- lost first round of LD to sake which raised a few eyebrows in the squad - we're going to be looking to win this and get right back into TWLD , Ash has some nice birds no doubt but....sika, grouch, peru, swimkid + paska got something going on pretty special.

dicE vs. Disoblige, 50-44

Hard to call, dicE had a rough start which could be good or bad for them. Diso, as many said, have really nice teaming but not the individual talent dice has. Close maybe.

Thunder vs. Sake, 50-40

Sake have really impressed me, they're all top, active birds and they've got chemistry, I see sake winning twld. However they can't underestimate Thunder and I'm sure they will fight to the end.

Savanger vs. Syndicate, 50-30

I think syndicate will dominate purely because savanger don't have that vital TWL experience.

Rampage vs. BoZ, 50-37

Two guys, Foreign+Blood - yea, they aint bad are they. It could actually go either way, but it won't be close because they are different types of players aka it will be a strong win from either team but probably Rampage.

SYnE vs. Squad!!,50-35

I really rate Squad!!, they're constantly undermined by the 'elites' but I think fairplay to these guys. They have wb talent and by auto-qualifying from last year they'll be quick to snap up the well-needed points against easier squads such as Syne.
