TWL-D Week 2 predictions

Lag will always be a factor in this game. That is a given and everyone knows that. I usually connect at 40ms high 70 low 40 .1 .1. People never really whine about my lag. I do get the ocassional pm saying hey nub you ate. Every elim I have played lately there has been about 3 eats on my screen mostly from players I know that aren't close to the server. Playing with lag is a double edged sword. On the flip side shots must come faster then they do on my screen due to certain connections.

If there is another TWL why not host it in the Dev Zone or a Zone Similar to TW. That might cut down on the lag and eats in Twl.

Their are certain squads I am not looking forward to playing during this TWL season. Namely -Final-, Savanger, and Dice. -Final- has the biggest lag cheater in the game. Sika is good player with great aim. Spec him though, I or anyone could mvp when you eat between 3 to 5 shots a dd. Dice is all laggots Lomoro aka Mega Newbie is hard to beat due to the lag factor. He has great aim mixed with a connection that allows him around a 300 ping. Sarrow,S2000,Komponetti,and not u lag like hell for Savanger. Sarrow is a great player but, I hate having to sit back and try to snipe him because I know 25% of the time if I rush him he will eat kill me.

Lag has given other players like Zazu,Sika,Lomoro,Eleven,Sarrow and who ever else lags like all hell an unfair advange. I play agressive. That's hard to do when in the back of your mind you know there is a high probability that your laggy ass opponent will tank a shot. This game and skill level are more decided upon your latency to the computer rather than your ability to aim,dodge,or rush.

WIll You shut the hell up you emo nerd. Also, you eat 3-4 shots a game that result in kills for you. Which is the difference between 7-10 and 11-10 so shut the hell up. Oh Ya i have 20 ms which is lower than what you have and people eat my shot constantly. I guess you are cheating reaver cause you eat shots in the middle of your ship too. So does demonfaze, baserman, and colonel. CE LINEUP????

You managed to miss the fact that I'm not talking about cheating. But since you decided to bring it up, I don't eat 3-4 shots in the middle of my ship per game, I bet you'd be hard pressed to record me playing TWD and find 1 per TWD.

P.S. Try not to get upset, I'm just trying to keep TWL legit, I'm sure you can appreciate that.

If I recall correctly, you're quite the little lagger yourself. I think you're on 56k or something; you always seem to spike all over the screen.

I just did my ping as of right now while being connected to msn messanger and Tw Forums my lag is PING Current:60 ms Average:70 ms Low:50 ms High:520 ms S2C: 0.1% C2S: 0.0%. I guess that's real laggy. ehhh. Death I pay for a good connection cuz I need a good connection. With the amout of porn I download a day, I would go crazy using dial up. I don't consider myself a laggit. I use Bellsouth which is now At&t

Well Jack I kinda agree but let me say this, coming from a person who did legitimately lag bad (back when all I could get was dialup) many years ago, people can lag really bad and still not be cheating. However, people that are gaining an advantage like that should be prohibited from playing TWL, not banned from the game altogether, since TWL is the most competitive league in the game it should be on equal playing levels for everyone. Also because I think the risk of letting someone play TW (besides TWL) even though they are lag inducing is worth taking rather than banning someone who wasn't actually breaking any rules. If they don't have access to an internet connection required for TWL well, tough luck, there are many other aspects of TW for them to enjoy and besides, if they really are cheating then they'll decide to stop which in the end is the best result you could hope for. Just my 2cents
