Not only do we do that... We also show sharks don't need practice together, sharks can do whatever they want if you have a great spiderline and dice and syndicate sharks stink. Man, with the spiders -f- currently has, even I could shark for us.

Actually, to tell you the truth, I don't care what you think of yourself, nor if you think you're better than I am, I'm confident with my ability, as are the squads that recruit me. I can play a bomb-mining/high rec game, a conservative rep only game (which you play with Vati, and works great with your spiders) or a mixture of the two depending on who I'm sharking with, who's terring and the style of play my spiders are capable of. I've played on a variety of squads, hence my sharking style has changed from team to team. Right now, I'm with a group of guys that don't have much experience playing with one another, but I've proved that I can adapt to it every easily, and they are able to do the same.

Panhandler worked great with me, but that's because I taught him how to shark with me, and I was able to adapt to his slow and steady increase in skill, and over time that made me a better shark overall as well. If he were to come back and play for any other team, I have no doubt he'd still be able to own it up, he learned more skills than I originally trained him with, and that's exactly what I expected out of him and the rest of the RB squad in all ships - which is why most were able to move on from the squad on to higher-tier basing squadrons.

Do I doubt you could move on to another squad and play well? No. But as of now, you have shown nothing but a one dimensional game, that luckily for you and your team, works just fine... but you have proven nothing to show that you are a better shark than I, older sharks, or your partner Vatican. You need to know that there is much more to sharking than wins under your belt with one squad, and until you show skills in other areas, you cannot argue with sharks with more experience than you, it just doesn't work.

Paulo, your a horrible shark, watch when its pandora vs thunder ima cause u 20 doas because you cant handle a real push. Max B is able to bomb crams, rep for spiders and rep mines right back at oppenents all at the same time like real sharks can. Dont count yourself as a real shark when you stink.

To add to my previous post, I have to say that basing is all about assessing the situation at hand. -Final- is full of incredibly talented individuals, and the fact that most of the roster is capable of playing all leagues with little practice really says something. Take Sika for example. His talent lies not only in his incredible aim and patience (and some may argue his lag), but his ability to assess the situation at hand and play to that scenario. Believe me, I'm not discrediting RednaZ or SIO's ability to shark, but they were able to do so because the whole team was able to adapt to the situation that was given to them and play with that. Red and SIO lack the basing experience, and if you were to throw them on another team, they may not have had the same success they had with -Final-'s lineup.

Basing practice helps most because it trains them to be able to assess different situations and learn what to do in such situations - where to shoot, how much to shoot, where to place themselves, and how to get out of it. Great wbs make good spiders by default because they can take their dodging and aim capabilities and bring it to the playing field. The wbs that aren't able to do this would find themselves to be better spiders than even some of the greatest basing spiders we see today, because they'd learn how to interact in a field of sixteen players, because it's a much different and larger scenario than 5 on 5.

Sharks require a slightly different skill set than spiders, but are no greater or no less important than the rest of the team. Each player has a responsibility, to be vigilant of everything around them and use their knowledge to play to that role. If everyone were to take Adderal, Ritalin, or other focus enhancing drugs and play, you'd see a very level playing field with games going 15:00-14:59 because everyone would be hyper-aware of all their surroundings. When there are real world distractions, some people are able to multi-task and take care of the issues, but myself, since I am a bit older and have less of an attention span, cannot do that with as much ease as a younger player. (No, I am not on any prescription drugs, although I think it would help me play a lot better at times )

This is why a newer team can sometimes become caught up when attacking a cram while the team that is cramming either has a spider shooting from one of the holes near the bottom, or having a straying spider trying to pull focus from the attacking force via a straying spider in mid-base. The best basing teams are able to focus their attack on the important matter at hand, and that all comes from practice.


Note to Eelam: I have had you on ignore for the past day or so because your posts add absolutely nothing important, and it just takes up space. Since I'm such a nice guy, I thought I'd let you know so that you're not wasting your time trying to talk to me directly any longer. If squad mates or friends of his are willing to relay his useless posts, consider yourselves ignored as well, although that would be incredibly unfortunate.

Sometimes I feel like this has become Bizarro-TW. It hit that point when we started hoping -f- could win.

its imperative that you have two solid sharks, but one slightly better shark pair isnt gonna make the difference.

im not sure if u missed that. -F-'s line this weak proved my point to the T, and u elaborated it. Spiders like sika, paska, spikey, koan are what won the game for them, not red/sio. no offence guys :P

also, im not taking a stab at you saying you arent a smart guy, and that you dont know anything about basing. you have played a lot.

i dont play a conservative rep only game. look at the replay of spas v. pandora and watch how many times i hit pl with bombs/mines etc.

40mgs! That is quite a lot! I don't think anyone could concentrate on anything without some sort of a tolerance.

As for their spiders... I didn't prove your point, I was pointing out that no one ship is what stems the outcome, it comes from the whole team. The fact that their spiders were able to adapt would be the same thing had they had a great shark pair that would be able to adapt with a couple of weak spiders. I didn't watch the game, but I'm sure Kaw's smart play helped balance out two unexperienced sharks as well, maybe even moreso than their spiders. The fact that there are more spider ships than any other ship on the team is the only thing that makes a considerable difference in terms of overall team skill, you can't have a team full of weak spiders and expect to win with two outstanding sharks and a terr... it's a full team effort.

Also the fact that SIO and RednaZ were probably able to assess the situations a bit more than expected helped as well. Sometimes we all are a little on top of our usual game, that's why you can find me doing well in DDs and JDs once in a while.... my aim and dodging is not of the caliber of a regular TWL player, but if I am fully aware of my teamates and opponents, I WILL make a difference, it just depends on how long I am able to hold that incredible concentration.

For whatever it's worth, I've always felt that spiders are the most important component in any basing lineup. Mediocre spids protected by top sharks still can't kill shit . Sharks start counting only when everything else is equal (I mean, how hard is it to rep three times and die , imo.

sry, but FBZ/Necro sharking pair is still the hardest pair to play against. and many of you know why.
