4.01 If an unpredictable server crash, router failure, TWBot failure, or other event has a massive impact on a game in progress, the match will be cancelled and all current scores discarded. The game will then be replayed at a later time. (See Rules 4.02, 4.03 and 4.04)

What if I say the server is going to crash right before it does, then it WAS predicted, therefore it can't be unpredictable so the rule wouldn't apply rite guyz!

1. i highly doubt mouse is like age 6 or 7
2. even if u did something by "accident" u still need to pay the consequences. u cant let say broke something in a store by "accident" while walking around and tell the store manager, oo it was an "accident" so can u let me off? highly doubt it.. since rule was set "you break, you buy" u still have to pay for the broken item no matter what

Oh, I didn't see some noobie moved this issue to another thread. But the rules state that a squad isn't held liable for removing a player if they send a notice to staff within 24 hours. In other words; you break, staff fixes.
Do you like these rules? It must be so, you didn't speak up before the season started.

Please tell me where it says that, I don't see. I see a rule to fix when a capt clicks a link by accident. Not a rule that fixes a mistake a hot headed retarded capt might axe someone then regret it :P

Anyway I think it's been said before that rules are there for the staff making the decision to interpret as they think they should be.

But yeah maybe this rule should be re-written to stop people whining :P

You can't prove that it is, or is not, an accident. Only if the person who hit the button would testify under oath that they did it on purpose, you could judge it as something other than an accident.
If staff doesn't automatically re-add people if an email is sent within 24 hours it's a stupid rule. Otherwise it's a totally clear rule that makes sense. [Maybe they should remove the word 'accidentally']

you have several witnesses saying Mouse claimed he axed Eelam, so that accounts as intent, and just the action of going to twd page, click to get to roster, click to name, demote etc...something like 4-5 clicks, clearly shows that it was a thought out idea.


and accidental - being non intentional and unwilling - clearly doesn't fit into that.


The rule is perfectly clear, the staff just made sure they could fix a problem, without whole community whining about it, which could arise if axing happened without real intention, ie tired/drunk cap axed wrong person

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Eelaam have a controversy about leaving roster last season too? And was quite fortunate that staff allowed him back, even though it could have gone either way.

Now this happend again? I doubt staff will look the other way this time.

Ano's point is valid, whether he needed this extremely self-righteous post which involved some rather suspect analogies is another thing. The fact remains, this is an online game meant for people to have fun. The rules are there to be briefly looked at and not taken too literally. The rules were made by the people for the people - they may not always use correct legislative, law tight, terminology.

You're talking about a pretty minor literal offence here and to be honest if thats your only beef with the rules - they're pretty fucking good rules.

But I think if changing the rules will get Eelam fucked I'm down with it.
