Once per year the zone population grows to an all-time high. When you spectate the different arenas, it seems that a lot of old players have returned. Base is full of fearsome spiders and sharks, javduel and wbduel are harder to play than ever before. With returning players, a lot of old squads return. Hey, there's -Final-, and sk8 already. Old friends have returned, old squads reunited. Some of these old players and squads play, some of them spectate. People seem to talk a lot more than usual, friendly talk, trash-talk. Both new-bies and old-ies are spamming chats with whine. "Build needs to be in TWL-B! They earnt it!". "No they didn't, get lost newbie!". Excitement, both positive and negative, is all around you, when you roam the hyperspace of Continuum.
This all can mean just one thing: The Trench Wars Leagues are about to commence for an eleventh time.
No matter what anyone says about the Trench Wars Leagues, they're the backbone of the Trench Wars zone. This is a fact, proven for the eleventh time this year. I say we celebrate this backbone, and it's fierce competition. I thank you Pascone, our main TWL operator, for bringing us another season of excitement, tension, smiles, tears and most of all, drama. I thank you.
Also, I congratulate and thank every single player in Trench Wars, for making it to Season Eleven, and for keeping the community alive.
Regards,
